what happens to you when you're lovesick?

*sigh* i think about him 24/7. it sucks but i never get tired of thinking about him.
*sigh* i get super depressed over little things like when i wasn't able to see him one morning, i was depressed to the point of getting sick. 
*sigh* i get hyperactive (happy) over little things like after not seeing him that one morning, i saw him in the afternoon and i got all super happy and energetic to the point of doing some stupid things.
*sigh* i worry about little things like will he get turned off of me if he sees my hair so messed up, or if he sees me talking with all the guys at work, or if he sees me hanging out with guys in our office entrance. ^__^;;
*sigh* i am so worried that he might forget about me if we won't see each other for over a week.

ha ha i understand your condition i was in your condition a few days ago ... but for me further relation was not possible so i am working mechanically and continuously to get rid of my thoughts.

oh that's hard. i know, i understand. there were a lot of times that i always think about him. every second every minute. 24/7. its like he's in my system. but i decided to take my feelings lightly and focus my attention to other things. i can't always be lovesick because of him.

well i only felt that strongly for a person once in my life, it was high school, and im pretty sure that if i see that person again, again i would fall.. but not to the point of getting depressed to the point of getting sick, LOL and cmon, he wont forget you, amnesia doesnt happen overnight! LOL (tinamaan yata tayo ah!)

hi dierdre. *sigh* bullseye kamo. i've trying hard to forget him and i'm doing it by not not seeing him. i succeeded last week in not seeing him, controlling myself not to see him but on Monday, i just caught a glimpse of him accidentally and there. i'm falling again.

hi myahw! i sing a lot too when i'm feeling happy and inlove. and i sing a lot too when i'm brokenhearted. ^__^;; i do believe in the saying that absence makes the heart grow fonder. but i also believe in the saying that absence makes the heart forget.
I can't eat, sleep or do anything well.
But yet, I love the feeling.

hehehe.. I remember myself when i was in high school and feeling exactly the way you're feeling.
He was my first boyfriend actually. We were in the same school and everyday i got to see him. Whenever I do, my day is complete. When we became lovers , i sometimes got sad when i don't see him in a day or during weekends.
I still sometimes feel it now that I'm almost ten years older. I don't have a boyfriend but i do have a crush. when i see him, i feel elated but not too much like before. I won't feel sad or anything like it when i don't see him.
when I'm lovesick? based from my past.. I usually stay in my room, lie on my bed most of the time. trying to do something else but i just can't because i'm losing my focus.

i was also like that with my first love. i was so happy when he became my boyfriend. but the pain from our breakup was equal to my happiness. i'm still like that now. i get happy that much and i get hurt equally that much. i guess i'm just so childish when it comes to love.

Lovesick? means heartbroken? or madly inlove? If I am inlove, I will be very happy and inspired and no days that i will not be in the mood, I feel like everything is possible and I just want to smile and smile a lot...but, when heartbroken, crying and I'll be alone in my room and recalling the memories, might hard to move on but I will always try to fix things out!

Oh, I'm just like you. I spend all my time daydreaming, to the point that I can be deemed useless because I don't do anything else. If he's around, I am hyperactive, and full of life. But if he's not, then I'm down on the dumps, as if all energy was sucked out of me, sometimes even falling asleep. It's really difficult to take control in this situation...

I know exactly what you're talking about. I've been through with it with my last boyfriend and I think it's not really good for your health. You invest so much in a relatioship and you don't even know if he's feeling the same for you. I know love is a beautiful feeling. It's makes you feel deliriously high and ecstatic, just be sure that you don't drown in it. Have a good time, laugh a lot and enjoy it - maybe it'll last for you. Good luck! ~

whoa! you really like him... I completely understand the feeling... I'm also like you with the girl I really love... but may I warn you... please take care of yourself... just think about it this way.. if you get sick the more you won't have the chance to see him more often... and just be yourself... it's better if he falls for you because you are yourself not because your what he wants you to be... I'm sure a day will come that he'll be able to notice that you exist...

That's really amazing feeling ... and it's the turth of lovesickness .
But one can take it in positive as well as negative ways ..
If oneself is really serious regarding relationship it's okay to worried a bit
and enjoy the up n downs . Believe me it's great to feel the excitement and nervousness . Oneself really have to enjoys this feelings as there is nothing wrong in it . But if one is taking the relationship casually then avoid nervous breakdown or hurting oneself .... otherwise it's really great !

When I was younger and dated my second boy friend, I was madly in love with him. All his words were like the king’s words as I fully listened to him and respect him. All his mistakes were counted his misfortunate. All his shortcomings I judged in another nice way. ‘Love is blind’. I was so blind until one day another girl approached me and proved all the bad things he had done behind my back. Thank god, I had someone to tell me and warn me so that I could wake up in time and recover from that lovesick.

Hello there, it could be an excuse to call it ‘love is stupid’. But whoever has experienced the dating or courting, they know ‘blind’ is more appropriate than the ‘stupid’. Even though you publish a book, no one will learn from it just like your poem says:

You have got it bad girl! I fell for a guy like that once...I thought we were just friends then when I went on vacation he was all I thought about and missed him so bad I couldn't stand it and couldn't wait for vacation to be over! Then when I got back I found out that he missed me as much as I missed him!!! Unfortunately he had to move away with his job...and though we didn't do anything about our feelings...after he moved I felt like I had lost my best friend! Good luck..maybe when he goes on vacation with his parents he will miss you too!

Hi secrebear, you are indeed sick. I have been there and done that. It is a wonderful feeling when the other person also feels the same. When my husband and I were courting, we used to get love sick then literally end up having a fever until we meet each other. Love is a wonderful feeling and it is genuine, even a person next to you can sense when you are in love. As it is put "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" it is indeed true.
Just cultivate your love, naurish it with sweet things and it will last for a life time. Make sure he also feels the same.

i wish i can still do that. but i already gave up on him. i realized there's no more reason for me to continue loving him. all of my efforts were in vain. its just so not me to continue using all my energy for a guy who doesn't have the slightest interest in me.
