Do you like sitting on the Porch?

Oh my goodness. That can be so romantic too. I absolutely love the sound of a wind chime. I actually bought one, but have no place to hang it. But I still hold it in my hand and listen to it. The bird chirps are so relaxing. You are making me long for a perfect day. Right now, in California, it is a little too cold. I know what you mean about loudness, it just takes so much away from a relaxing moment.

Yes I like sitting on the porch. I went outside and just sat today too. My street is peaceful, except when my kids are making a racket, hehe. I wish I had a big porch, its small. In the summer we spend alot of time out back. Someday Marcie, me and you will sit and chill on the porch, and listen to the birds.

I have a deck on both sides of my house and on the road side I have all by bird feeders and table and chair out there, I sit out there quite often it is very relaxing and love watching and listen to the birds.I live in the country and not alot of traffic where I live and on the back side of the house in the evening I can sit and watch the deer feed in the field and watch the rabbits hop around the yard..I love it, it is my stress release.

I sit on the porch in the evenings when my son is playing in the yard. I like to take my guitar out and play while he is running around.

I love to sit on the front porch here. The only thing I don't like is that it's so close to the road, but when this house was built in the 1800's the most traffic there ever was was a horse and buggy lol. Up until about 10 years ago there wasn't much traffic, but since there's a bunch of housing developments down the street now, it's always busy with traffic. The front porch here is screened in and there's really comfortable wicker furniture on it. My grandson and I often go out and watch the birds feeding their young in the nest that's in the bush by the one corner. I have a bird feeder and a hummingbird feeder out there, so I really enjoy watching them. We just took all of my house plants out there for the summer. They always seem to get rejuvenated out there getting more sun and all.

We used to love to sit out on our front deck but now we have many neghbors and there is alot of traffic up and down through here now. There is not much privacy out front. We are building a roof on our back deck now for our back yard, so now can get some privacy, even though it may not be quiet either. We have privacy fencing up back there also and that helps alot too. We like to watch the birds get on the bird feeder also.

I love sitting on our backdoor step in the mornings. The sun is so warming, especially as we are in winter here now, and it is so nice. A really good way to wake up and get ready for the day ahead.

we have a porch in our home in the province. every morning i stay on our porch and eat my breakfast there. it is the usual place we always stay and play some board games.
