Eating Lemons

My younger brother, by 4 years, when we were growing up, use to take a lemon out of the fridge and wash it off. He then would make sure I was looking at him and take a huge bite out of it just he could watch me screw up my face in disgust. I can not handle eating lemon with out the rind, much less rind and all. (My mouth is watering just thinking about it.) Have you ever done such a thing to torment your brother or sister? beamer23

LOL. I forgot all the things that I would do to torture my siblings. But I am the oldest so they would torture me most. But I would take a slice of lime and put it in my mouth with the rind facing out. I would put a little salt on it. But there was this time when my little brother let my box of goosebumps book fall out the window. I thought I was going to die when that happened. I had to go outside and go to the back of the building and get all the books.

I had a taco at a fast food place where they had accidentally (I Think) put a lime slice inside of the taco for some reason. I bit into the taco and that lime slice with the rind still on. I stopped eating and had to pull half the lime slice back out of my mouth. I was starving so I ate the remainder of the taco and the rest of the food that they had brought to me, but I never went back to that place. It was the worst taste. How you could stand putting that in your mouth, I don't know. You did this so you'd have green looking teeth? beamer23

When i was about 9 years old. I had the stomach flu. My mom said that eating a lemon would make me feel better. I don't know what she or i was thinking and i ate the lemon. Shortly after, i started vomiting worse than ever and it was getting out of control.

Yikes! I had never heard of that for a home remedy for the flu. You must have been pretty bad off to begin with, cause just the smell alone of a fresh lemon, starts getting things going with me. I love the smell of lemon in products but you can keep fresh lemons. I love fresh made lemonade, though. beamer23

I am sure that i done alot of things to torment my brother and sister but i can't recall any of them at the moment. My stepdaughter who is all grown up now, use to as a child eat raw onions. She would eat it like an apple.

In the past, I have been a professional dinner cook, and Onions were always something I would respond to quite easily, crying like a baby. Not actually waa waaing but tearing up like crazy. Eating a raw onion like an apple just wouldn't happen with me. beamer23

Well I thought my brother was pretty disgusting when he did it. You would have thought that as soon as I saw the lemon in his hand that I knew what was coming, but it was amazing how often I fell for that. Apparently my parents didn't mind, for they never got after him about it and they kept by those damn lemons. He use to make mustard sandwiches (Two slices of bread and a load of mustard - yucko!) also, which I thought was gross as well. I don't know how he kept from getting sick. Your youngest sounds like my daughter. My wife and I couldn't teach her anything. She always had to learn for herself. Well, you had told her. beamer23
