Wake Up AMERICANS!!!!! was the title of the below email I recieved from a friend. What do you think? I still don't know for sure who to vote for.. help me! "LET ME SEE IF I HAVE THIS STRAIGHT? HIS FATHER WAS A KENYAN, MOSLEM, BLACK- WE HAVE SEEN PICTURES OF HIS AFRICAN "FAMILY HIS MOTHER IS A KANSAN, ATHIEST, WHITE- HIS FATHER DESERTED HIS MOTHER AND HIM WHEN HE WAS VERY YOUNG AND WENT BACK TO HIS FAMILY IN KENYA HIS MOTHER MARRIED AN INDONESIAN MOSLEM AND TOOK HIM TO JAKARTA WHERE HE WAS SCHOOLED IN A MOSLEM SCHOOL HIS MOTHER RETURNED TO HAWAII AND HE WAS RAISED BY HIS WHITE KANSAN GRANDPARENTS HE LATER WENT TO THE BEST HIGH DOLLAR SCHOOLS, HOW? HE LIVES IN A $1.4 MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE THAT HE ACQUIRED THROUGH A DEAL WITH A WEALTHY FUND RAISER. HOW? NOW LISTEN TO THIS: HE "WORKED" AS A CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST IN CHICAGO- HAS NEVER HELD A PRODUCTIVE JOB. THE PRESIDENCY IS NOT A CIVIL RIGHTS POST NOR IS IT SUBJECT TO AFFIRMATIVE ACTION SET ASIDES HE ENTERED POLITICS AT THE STATE LEVEL AND THEN THE NATIONAL LEVEL WHERE HE HAS MINIMAL EXPERIENCE HE IS PROUD OF HIS "AFRICAN HERITAGE" BUT IT SEEMS THAT HIS ONLY AFRICAN CONNECTION WAS THAT HIS AFRICAN FATHER GOT A WHITE GIRL PREGNANT AND DESERTED HER. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT SPERM CARRIED A "CULTURAL" GENE. WHERE IS THE PRIDE IN HIS WHITE CULTURE? HE GOES TO A "AFROCENTRIC" CHURCH THAT HATES WHITES, HATES JEWS, AND BLAMES AMERICA FOR ALL THE WORLDS PERCEIVED FAULTS HE CLAIMS THAT HE COULD NOT CONFRONT HIS PASTOR BUT HE WANTS US TO BELIEVE THAT HE CAN CONFRONT NORTH KOREA AND IRAN , RIGHT!!!??? YEAH, I THINK I SEE HOW HE COULD BE A UNITER AND BRING US TOGETHER. HIS HOPE IS THAT NO ONE IS SMART ENOUGH TO PUT THE PIECES TOGETHER!!!."

Does he have to read in capital letters? it's realy annoying. I'm not american but european and my opinion is that obama is the best choice. In the end all choices are the same. Think about it, every candidate gets sponsoring, so if i sponsor hillary, obama or mcain and she/he wins...I would gain immense power. Whenever i need something i just pull some president strings, they have to listen because i'm their main sponsor. Still if obama gets elected i think it's going to be a good thing, america has had their rascist look long enough, i realy hope people will see that voting obama is a great step towards tolerance. ofcourse this counts for hillary as well for she would be the first women. In short i would stay with any of the democrats.

This is nothing bad about how someone grew up. This seems to be the only thing bad that they try to find on Ohama. There are so many other things that would be consider to be bad. This would be the best person for the job; someone that knows a little bit of everything. The news has really been hard where this is concern. Yet if he gets elected then what will they try to do next to discredit him. When the elections come the people will still have the last vote no matter what.

Hi, Raydene. I have to say that after comparing all the candidates and their stance on the issues that matter the most to me and my family, I still believe that Obama is the best choice for the job. I also think that for the most part, this email is a typical example of the internet being used for political mud slinging and fear tactics. This sort of thing happens during presidential elections - now-days even more so due to the increasing popularity of the internet as a means of communication and news information.

I don't like to get into the whole political discussion thing but, I just wanted to say...Annie, I agree with you! More importantly, who can't agree with you? When people are having to grow their own vegetables so they can afford to pay for gas instead of food, what is wrong with this picture? I can't imagine anyone screwing things up more than our current President.

I just don't think he's the man (or person) for the job. I don't think he's capable of handling our country - we're in a crisis with gas prices - we're in a crisis with food prices - we're in the midst of a recession - and we're in a war against terrorism. We need a totally new healthcare system, and a revamped income tax system. I don't think he is capable of, or would even attempt to, address all these issues - regardless of what religion he is or isn't.

Personally, I hope I never have to wake up and see Obama as President of the United States. I just do not like what he stands for, and think there are many others out there who would definately make a better President than him. I know if he wins, Bush will look like a Saint compared to him. There are many things about him that scare me as a whole. And why is he avoiding talking about the Economy, Jobs, Gas prices? Does he really think that if he stops the war then the rest will improve, so why should he focus on any of them? Just my thoughts. And no, I am not sure Hillary or McCaine are the answer as well, but either of these would be a way better choice than Obama. I am looking for a change, not something worse.

You would think that writing all that people would see your point but they don't. I am clueless as to why. What does it take for a person to see this man as he is?

Yep you just about said it all, my concern is the video on YOU TUBE where he is talking about whites and the hatred he has for them, you really should go to YOU TUBE and look under his name and see what horrible things he said. Another concern of mine is he is an unknown, only been in politics a short time but has managed to raise way more money for his campaign that the other 2, so where is this money coming from, it is said he is being backed by Hamas or however you spell it, too early in the morning. I believe the terrorist are sitting back waiting for this man who hates American whites to be elected and as they see it it will be a clear shot into the country. He wants to disband our armed forces, saying he can do away with the missile system, then go to other countries and tell them we no longer have nuclear weapons so would you give up yours too, I just bet they will run to destroy any they have. This man is a danger to America, it has nothing to do with his race, it is what he believes, and your right he can't confront his pastor, because he don't want to, he believes the white americans are stupid and can not tell what kind of person he is, and you know what I see more and more of then every day pushing for this person to gain access to the white house. The top DEMS who are backing him look at him as a PUPPEt they can pull the strings on, but I don't believe that will happen, I am in fear of what is going to happen if this man should get into office, I fear another 9-11 is right around the corner and he will be the one to bring it on. America better wake up,his ideas will change America but not in a way we will like.

Reading it like that I had a glimmer of an idea that he was a "plant". How does he come to be a presidential candidate? Do your presidents get elected by the people? Who is voting for these people. I'm not an American but I'm afraid.
