Are we so Conservative and Cautious while discussing here?

Do you think so? Most of the topics do just end with a authors comment, " Thanks for responding, or Yes, i agree or thanks for the concern... or some thing like that." There ends the thing. The respondent is not allowed to share their feelings. Is this because of the fear that someone will report us, or will give negative ratings to us that will affect our star. Or, else, Do we think that prolonging a topic, will not earn points and money? (Exactly i dont know) Or, commenting on all topics to a discussion started by us, will not increase the number of post counts made here. I have read some persons mind here, who are more inclined in increasing their posts counts by one liners. Do you think so? Or, else, we are cautious and conservative? Cheers to all.

Hi saivenkaat802003! Oh, I do thank the respondents most of the time but I don't think you are talking about me, or are you? haha.. I usually comment on all responses but don't really respond to all discussions made by our friends here. I guess, it is because sometimes I don't have any idea what the topic is all about and I have nothing good to contribute. And as for the one liner posters and respondents, i really am not quite sure of what's running through their minds. I guess, personally I sometimes is conservative in choosing the topic I will respond to and sometimes, I am cautious in making responses and comments..but whether I am conservative and cautious, or whether I get a little bit silly and frank, I always know I post my thoughts with honesty and sincerity and no pretensions at all. But to tell you frankly now, I really don;t know if I am making sense because I am really sleepy now. It is past midnight here and I think I need to go to sleep. haha.. Take care my friend and God bless you always!

Actually, I think a well discussed topic will earn more money. I am not sure but this is what I think. But usually, it is not common for a discussion to "linger" so long. Normally we just just 1 or 2 sets of exchanges and that's it. I don't think people are trying to close the topic by thanking... they are closing in a way, yes, but it is not their intention to ask the responder not to talk anymore.

i admit i'm a little cautious saiven. but not because i might get a negative rate or it might affect my star or my earnings but because, i think of what might be the reaction of the myLotter (poster or commenter). i am usually careful on my words because i don't want to offend anybody here. but i also say what i feel and what i think, i just put it in a nice way as much as possible. although there were times that i posted a discussion with a lot of cursing. but that wasn't directed to any myLotters. i was just venting about someone i argued with and i couldn't help but course. ^__^;; but most of the time, i try to put my words in a nice way.

Well, I think it simply means we have nothing to say. If something makes our blood boil (like a moral or a religious topic) tee hee, then people don't care about Mylot points. They just go on and on. I have just come from one such discussion. Start a really "hot" discussion that will drive people nuts and see how many responses to responses you will get. LOL... teasing of course!! Cheers and happy mylotting!

I agree that some are here purely to rake in $$. But conservative & cautious? Maybe not so expressive should be the word? Maybe due to language barrier or just plain personality?

I don't think there is anything wrong with expressing your views as long as you are respectful of the other person. I know one of the discussions I commented on got into a long discussion between about 3 of us. I really enjoyed it. We didn't have the same views, but we listened and was respectful of each others views, and I think we all learned something from the discussion. You should not be scared to say how you feel about something - just do it nicely. But, one liners aren't going to get you anything. And I think I either read or heard only the discussion and your one response to someone is all you get paid for. I don't worry about the money when something is interesting enough for me to want to respond over and over.

saivehnkaat when I first came here I was goung ho on all topics and got hit so hard with insulting responses I have learned not to do any controversial discussions or I would be completelu without a star. in two days someone minused me from ten to 6 and its taken me a long time and a lot of posting to get back to an 8 so I do not do controversy anymore, too many mean hearted trolls who would kill you if they did not agree. lol.
