Well it is mango season in my country. Everywhere you turn there is mango smell. From the little baby to the grannies them eating mango. There are so many types of mangoes, such as julie, east indian, hairy, blackie, bamberry etc. Once I used to enjoyed eating this fruit but one day while working at a store a customer brings one large plastic bag of mango and we decide to put it in a plastic tub. Man when my ex co-workers them ready if eat them it just turn me off. Since them the scent alone makes me cringe. But mango nectar, mango jam, and the juice are so enjoyable to drink and spread on bread it is really something to try. So are you a mango lover?

I love Mangos but they are not popular where I am from . They sell them in jars with the fruit juice . Fresh Mangos are very hard to find . When there is a local farmer market I will go and pick some up and along with many other kinds of tropical fruits . Fruit is such a treat for me in the summertime .

Yes fruits are enjoyable two nights ago I was watching health watch on one of our local stations and they were telling us that mangoes has vitamins A,B,C and D. They also said that it is very good for pregnant ladies to eat. I always wonder why whenever one eat mangoes they have so much heat in their bodies but this information has led me to believe that it is because of these vitamins. I would encourage persons to eat it. Thanks for responding.

Mango isn't a typical fruit in my country. It only grows in some areas in my country. On the way to my office, there are some mango trees and that's so fancy for me. I think they are quite interesting that mangoes seem to grow so well. Although I wonder whether they are tasteful or not as they are only trees for decoration. I love China

Mangoes for the win!!!! Mangoes are among my favourite fruits. I love tropical fruits like guava, passion-fruit and mangoes. I also happen to be a lemon-lover (excuse the alliteration). Mango is great for cooking as well as eating as a fruit. My mum makes a beef and mango stir fry which tastes amazing!! XD

Start drinking the juice first - you'll slowly get over the old "plastic-tub" syndrome !

I love mangos. I had never eatin one until I was about 16 years old. A friend told me to go ahead and try it, that it tasted like a combination of different fruits, like bananas, peaches and so on. She was right. I live in Georgia in the US. And here it's soon to be peach season, everywhere you look there will be peaches.

Interesting. I didn't know there were different types of mango. I know how a personal experience can turn you off from things. The mind works in mysterious ways.

I love mangos - especially the really yellow ones. I don't know the name. I don't really like the reddish/green/yellow ones so much because they are really fibrous and the fibres get stuck in my teeth. But the really yellow ones are so smooth and delicious! I love to eat the fruit just plain or sometimes I buy the pickled mangoes which are deliciously tart! Yum to mangos! :)

Tropical fruits are kind of expensive here. I've only had mangos in mixed fruit salad. I've never had a fresh one nor would I even know how to cut one up. I do like exotic fruit. I'm sure fresh mangos are yummy!
