Yeah the price of everything have gone up since the price of the oil increase. The cost of living had also change but one things that doesn't change is the salary we are getting! Can't go shopping for most of the time now beacuse of the tight budget.

I always watch what I spend. But the low dollar is actually pretty good for me.. since I live in the Netherlands, it's relatively cheap for me to by things online. Often they use dollars instead of euros.

I have not noticed any drastic changes yet. I have stay home more often not to use up so much gas. I have also started using more cupons at the market and hunting down more deals on food and other things. I have also started finding places to shop closer to home. As far as clothes and other things, I have not really had to cut back that much. I just went out a few weeks ago and bought some new things to where this summer.

Yes, it really got affected. I haven't shopped for a long time. I have a few things I wanted to buy, but I don't have enough money to spend, so I prefer to spend it on things that are actually necessary.

I dont go shopping alot because i dont really have disposal income at this time. If I do shop it's usually for some essential consumable like food, paper towels suncreen etc. I kind of feel like I have too much stuff anyway. I do find I sometimes purchase on impulse though, so staying out of stores is probably a good idea for me.

Yes, of course! I am having the same situation too, and I think most of us have because nowadays, money is so hard to earn, and when you get the chance to actually even hold it, you have to pay right away for the things that you need to pay - the necessities anyone has like food or gas/fare, electricity bills and the sort. Spending money for shopping would not be really a situation in which one will be happy unless his or her earnings are big enough to accommodate all that needs to be paid at the same time having savings and budget for luxuries..:)
