I don't get it, but my husband does, he plays all the time. Can someone shed some light on why this game is so addictive?

Well, I'm not sure why he likes it but I'm addicted to it because it's so immersive and you can customise your character so that it's different than everyone else's. It's also very goal oriented. It gives you quests and you find a way to complete that quest. That's very satisfying. Life isn't so easy.

It's a great escape from reality. You get completely immersed in the game. The graphics are awesome and it's quite a social game. You get to interact with all sorts of people from all over the world. The quests are challenging and it's just so addictive.

I started playing it just to spend time with my boyfriend. Now I play more than he does, but that is another discussion in itself. I think it is so addictive because it takes you out of reality during that time your in the game. Not only can you transform into a character so unlike yourself, but you can transform into many characters. You get to interact with other people as much and as little as you want. It allows people with different interest to come together. Some people like it for the fighting, some are into trying to see how much money they can make, or leveling fast. It is almost like getting lost in a book, but one you get to help write every step of the way. Your only limitation is your imaginination. I think that is why the game is so addictive. If you have another computer, a router, and another wow account you could always play with him. It is amazing how many couples play together. Allows them to spend time together and communicate even when they dont have anything much to say.
