my family is with netflix but we have tendency to lose the movies, so make sure that you keep track of the movies and to make the money worth it, trade movies in a lot because my family rarely uses that anymore, we have gone back to renting from the local movie store. I like netflix a lot, but my family just can't keep track of anything.

Netflix is great! I like not having to return movies by a certain time and you don't pay any more for late returns.

98% of the library's dvds are defective. They are scratched and dirty. It is frustrating to clean them and they still don't work! Lots of library patrons don't know how to handle dvds. Our library card works in 9 different branches in our county and in 3 libraries, I've noticed that alot of dvds have this problem. People learn to handle dvds properly! *sighs* LOL! Anyway, we have been Netflix members for over 6 years. We love the wide selections. Only a few times have dvds been defective from there. It motivates customers to handle them properly, I guess. I love that they have more selections from there than Blockbuster. And you can watch movies/shows online for unlimited time. We haven't been to the movies in over 5 years. We don't need to deal with stinky movie theaters, overpriced tickets, overpriced concession stands, people telling other people to "shush" people, bad seats, etc. I guess people are anxious to see a movie release and don't want to wait till it goes on dvd, so they don't mind paying more expensively. Another option is to rent from Red Box where you can rent dvd's from there. They usually have it where you enter/exit grocery stores. Sometimes they have it at fast food restaurants. I think it's only a $1 a day. I haven't tried it but my best friend rents from there.

I have seen that. I might do that sometime. Maybe this weekend if my netflix movie doesnt get here by Sat. The only problem is that the grocersy store is like 25 minutes from my house so I use alot of gas just getting there.

I mostly get them from Red Box. I like that they are only $1 for the rental and you can return them at any Red Box not just the one that you rented the movie from.

I havent really rented movies from t he library much. I mostly get mine from Netflix. I really dont go to the video store becasue it is far from our house. We do our shopping on Netflix.

Do you have a Redbox nearby. Blockbuster left our neighborhood and the local grocery store replaced their in house rental with some RedBoxs. Works great and isn't expensive.

Well I too rent DVDs from a local distributing centre. Most of the time I watch the new movies from the cable TV itself. What about this netflix. Can you tell me about it.

I usually rent it from local library... Seems pretty cheap compare to most other places, like block buster... They have new release titles for $2 & old titles for $1... On Tuesdays, you can rent 2 new releases for $2... I also have HBO, Showtime, & Starz on my cable so I don't even rent that much...

We don't have a video store near us so we joined netflix and we love it. We get probably 8 or 9 videos a month with the one at a time plan. we should probably bump up our plan but now that it's summer I would rather have my kids outside.
