Here is the updated photo of my Apple tree and the surrounding Irises. They are fully bloomed now and look beautiful. As you can see some did take a beating from all the recent storms and heavy rain we have had the past 2 weeks. This fall I am thinning these out as there must be about 50 or so here. I have to figure out where I want to plant most of them first though. Just wanted to share this photo as a few friends asked to see a photo of them fully bloomed. Thanks all. Have a great day/evening as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hello, That is a nice picture of your iris and apple tree . They must look very beautiful When I was a little girl my father and me planted an apple tree and it was great to watch it come to life. The tress is still there now. My wild flowers and sunflowers are just starting to sprout , so I can't wait ! Have a great day too

Do you still pick apples from that tree? Do you know what type of apples they are at all? Thanks also. I am very proud of all my gardening and landscaping around the yards. It's well worth the hard work and cash I've spent so far. [b]HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~[b]

Such a pretty picture of the irises and apple tree. I am also jealous of the lush lawn I see. We are still having to use sprinklers and city water to keep our lawn alive. I sure wish mother nature would hurry up and water it for us seems like her water works so much better.

Thanks bunches both of you. I work hard at keepoing my lawn looking nice all year long actually. When we bought the house both front and back were brown and sparse with grass. The last owners never did a thing except mow it. No water, no seeding, or feeding it. We have an odd/even ban all suimmer from June 1st till August 31st. being my adress is an odd nymber I water on the odd days of the year. but now we've had rain for 2 weeks almost every day nothing needs much watering here. I need heat and sunshine actually. [b]HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~[b]

Simply beautiful and rewarding to see the fruits of your labor. I am glad that it didn't suffer the ill effects of bad weather and natural disaster Grandpa Bob. I find it kinda inspiring. LOL! In finding something still standing strong and fully in bloom after taking so much battering from the elements. There is actually a lesson here. Have a nice day!

Those are beautiful! For some reason when I first read it in my email, I thought you were talking about the apple trees and wondered how on earth you were going to move them! The picture isn't included in the email and I have to go to your profile to see them so I was confused.

Oh the apple trees are small enough to be still transplanted. but I would need a lot more help. They are only about 6 feet maybe 7 feet tall only. But the root ball would be heavy as heck. Thanks also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi Grandpa Bob those iris are just gorgeous and the tree is too. I love apples and the smell of apple blossoms.so fragrant too. the great thing about iris is you can get so many different colors. And they do last for awhile too.

From the rain and heavy winds the tree is actually off kilt a lot. I have to get some nylon rope and a stake to make it straight again this weekend. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

They are beautiful. We've had some storms around here too and I've got limbs down and a few pine trees. The weather has been pretty violent this year.

Hello grandpa Bob. Glad to see your new pic. Your garden always have something interesting to be talked about and saw. The flowers are beautiful as usual. I guess it's pleasant to have some in the garden. I miss having a garden. When my grandparents were still alive, we played a lot in their beautiful garden too.
