Which Shrek do you prefer?

A girl after my own heart. I love the 1st one. I think it is the best. The second was cute, but not as good. ANd now they are coming out with Shrek 4. Not really looking forward to it. At this point I think they are just trying to milk more cash out of the public.

I love shrek.The first one of course, but I also enjoyed the second one. For some reason I could not even get into the third. I havn't even watched the whole thing I just keep falling asleep. I was really wanting to see the shrek babies but I can't get past the first 15-20 min of the movie. I can't see four if there is a four being very good. Thats the problem with big movies they always go too far with the sequels. The original is always the best, the second sometimes is good but by the third the movie is palyed out. How much more can you do with a green ogre and a talking donkey?

At first, I had a similar reaction to the Shrek 2 movie, but after awhile it became my favorite. I loved the idea of both Shrek and Fionna changing into humans and being normal and getting to experience life that way. Turns out that both really loved being ogres and wanted to turn back and that's how it ended up. My daughter loved Shrek 2 and Shrek original movie from the start but never much got into the third Shrek. Though she really loved the mini-Shrek holiday movie. It was just about twenty minutes long and she would watch that thing again and again. Very entertaining, especially the part where Donkey sings.

I have not seen the 3rd one yet, but I like the first one so far the best.

Shrek 1 is the best for me. 2nd was okay but boring. Shrek 3 was very dull for me and was boring.

i loved part 1 more than part 2..but shrek 3 was average..it was a bit dampner
