Do You Believe In God? I Need To Hear From Christians....

...first two responses were that the Bible was a moldy book, so the bible is moldy eh?penecilin is a mold and it has saved many lives so too can that moldy book!

I definetly believe in God, he is my Rock. Well i can go on and on about the list of things that have eventually fallen in place and all that is because of the Only True God. I do believe in bible and its Gods word. Well i didnt have faith either in God nor in myself, but now i do believe in myself, more so in my God.

Hi There! I'm very glad you posted this discussion. :) I got saved in 1989. I thought I was a Christian before then. I had helped teach in Sunday School, helped in Childrens Church on Sundays and even sung in the choir. But I came to the point that I realized I wasn't a Christian after all, I had been talking the talk but not walking the walk. I'm so thankful that God kept speaking to me and gave me another chance. I believe in God. God is Love and God loves me and I love him.

I do believe in God. Every time I watch the sun come up and see the Creator's sky - different strokes and colors each day - I know there is a God. Every time I hear the birds sing, or a baby laugh, or see the squirrels romp, God is evident. The human body is such an intricate miracle, that it's obvious to me that there was a loving Designer.

I've not been a believer or follower for ages now and FOR ME thats perfect HOWEVER..I know that for others in my life (my MiL and ex FiL for example) believing has done them wonders and FOR THEM thats perfect I have to ask though..why were you surprised and disappointed? Ppl arent and shouldnt behave like carbon copies of one another so its only logical that not everyone will feel the same ya know....I personally think that the bible though originally intended to be a great guide for living became a complete work of fiction rewritten time and time again by self absorbed bitter hateful men..Should that disappoint others? No IMO it shouldnt, its just how I feel and history has proven it over and over ya know...Do I think that NOBODY should follow, appreciate or learn/life etc from the bible? No not at all..to each his own ya know..just like my personal path doesnt appeal to others (and it shouldnt since its MY PERSONAL path)....make sense?

Forgive me, but the topic sounds stupid to me. Do you really have christians that don't believe in God?.

i believe in god. i believe he is the reason for our existance. i know for a fact that he watches over me everyday, and guides my footsteps. he is the reason i dont go crazy and i still have my sanity in times of trouble. i disagree with those who say the bible is a moldy book. the bible is a guide to keep people in line while on this earth.

The question is "Do you believe in God", and you need to hear from Christians? What do you expect them to say? I don't dislike the post so much as it makes no sense at all. Why did you even put that question in the title when the discussion you want to have clearly has nothing to do with it?

I believe in God very much, he has done so much in my life and he is still working in my life. I grew up having alot of health problems even as a child, and I know now that if it wasn't for God, I might not be here now. He's gotten me thru so many things, I've had 2 heart surgeries, one when I was a little girl, the other was 7 yrs ago. The doctor's told me since this was such a complex surgery that I had a 50/50 chance of making it thru, there were so many risks involved including having a stroke during the surgery, but I prayed and prayed and had my whole family praying and church family. I wasn't even scared when they took me in that morning, I knew I was going to be alright. I made it thru the surgery with flying colors, the doctors couldn't believe I had done so well, for it being a 8 hr. deal. I knew God had done it again like he always does, I love him so much he is so good. I just don't understand why people try to say that theres no God, that he don't care about us or what we do, he does care and he always will. That's just a portion of what he's done in my life. But this would turn into a book if I wrote it all..lol. God Bless

I could feel that God is there because of my experiences that happened to me especially during ups and downs. I could really feel how much God help me to do the things that I need to finish especially by the time that I am still studying. I know He is listening to me but I must admit the fact that I am losing faith and believe on Him at times because of the worst things that are happening. I know He wants to give moral lessons on me. In protecting in all harms I know God is still there since I am always asking for the protection by talking to him silently.

Wherever site I get in, I just can't shut up in one corner and be silent and don't say anything about being a Christian, for that's what I am. I am so glad for a God that promises hope and eternal life. God has been doing great things in my life, I didnt say that it is a life of roses but a lot of thorns that is, but I praise Him for giving me a life in and with Him.

God gave me life. God gave me my family. God helps me through my family and friends. God gave me everything. Need I say more?

Hi sunshine, Yes, I most definitely believe in God! He is my heavenly Father and His love is immeasurable! He has blessed me far beyond what I can say! He is good...ALL the time! What a breath of fresh air this discussion is! There are a lot of wonderful Christians on here and when I read about someone who has given their life to God, my heart overflows with joy! Yes, I believe in God. I grew up as an atheist, but shifted my position to Christianity. Went back after nearly years, but later came back. Now for over 7 years I have been stable. Friends have helped me so much in times of doubt and trouble. Love and fellowship within the church was not there outside. It's all His work. Blessings!

I have some strange viewpoints on religion. My definition of God is not the same as many people would think or believe. I do not think you have to be a Christian to be a good person. Actually some of the most "religious" people I know are actually some of the worst who do just as many things non-christian though they sure are quick to start quoting the bible or throwing god in your face. What I believe is basically god is energy in the world and there is only 1 but everyone has different names and different beliefs about god. So while 2 religions can seem completely different on the surface, they are actually quite similiar in many ways. I don't think any one religion is right or better than another. God has done a lot, and isn't easy to understand. But being close with god is important. And if you look back on your life you will see many things have happened that you can directly relate to it.

hello!^_^ I do believe in God..HE had been so much helpful on those times that i needed Him..He had never given me a challenge in my life that i can't surpass. other may say that it is me who have solve out my problems alone but i do know and i do believe that God was with me all the time..There is a time that i already wanted to give up but i still hold on Him I went to church pour out my heart to Him then the day after i got a good news..Many times that i have been troubled He is the one who have inspired me and have helped me out.. I am not a Christian but I am practicing their ways. I truly believe in God. He had done a lot of things to me and my family. I also believe in everything that the Bible says. It is my guide in everything that I do.
