Does good clothes boost your Confidence ?

It sure does for me! And i guess everybody likes to look good , so dressing up, putting good make-up, good clothes boosts everybodys confidence. When you feel comfortable in your cothes you are comfortable with your self too and that is when, whatever you put your hands in gives great results.I do not know about others but that is what happen s to me. When i look good, feel good ther is this surge of positivity inside me that makes me do good things with good results. Does some thing like this happen to you? Does good clothes boos your confidence??

it nice to se that there are others too who feel the same way that you do. It is very important to feel comfortable and preety/handsome at the same time to get that confidence. Thank you for answering.

I know that wearing expensive clothes can boost your confidence and it is a good thing. There is another thing that can boost confidence and engender trust, confidence and respect and it is a big suv.

Well, I know who I am and I never had a problem with that but then, I'm pretty well-known and respected for what I've done so I can get away with pretty much anything. The problem is when you go to a place where no one knows you so this is where clothes and accessories and suv's come in handy. Lol!

Well then you are absolutely right. To get noticed in a new place one does need really good and expensive clothes and an SUV!!

No i am not only talking about expensive clothes, i can be very simple and plain clothes but something that makes you feel comfortable in and look good at the same time. Sure an SUV would surely boost your confidnce and blast others confidence,lol. Its actually not about expensive things as much as it is about you.

I can honestly say that good blothes do not raise or lower my confidence, as I know that clothing is only what's on the outside. A person who thinks little of themselves really can't cahnge their outlook on themseles, just by how their clothing looks.

You are right when you say that, but lets say, when you are not feeling all that peppy and your self esteem is low,somebody comments on how great you are looking. Dosnt that pep you up, dosnt that raise your confidence back. When i said that good clothes raise you confidence ,i simply didnt mean that one can have expensive clothes and gain confidence. one can just wear simple clothes, feel great and that in turn makes your mood lighter and it resuls in greater confidence.

Geez, I'm SO old!! The last couple topics you've brought up have reminded me how different I thought 30 years ago compared to how I feel now. I used to think clothing was important and it did give me confidence to look nice and be a bit stylish. Now, who cares? 
If my body is decently covered with colors that compliment each other--or not--I'm satisfied. I know I'm a good person and if people can't be bothered to look beyond the clothing they're not worth knowing.

Everybody likes to look good, dosnt matter if they are young or old. Yes the young ones can do anything to look good and out off the common crowd while the old try a bit lesser, but they do try. See for youeself, you choose colors that compliment eachother and not just wear anything that you can lay your hands on! Its the heart that matters, everybody has to get old one day or the other. One day i would be your age and wish to be as knowledgeable as you are now.
