It is usual to have popcorn in the cinema while watching movies, right? Others prefer chips over popcorn but it is still usual. So what is the most unusual food you ate while in the cinema? My answer would be a meal. Rice and viand. hehe. Burgersteak from Jollibee. I was hungry that time because I haven't eaten my lunch yet, but I don't want to miss the start of the movie so I bought take out and ate the meal in the cinema, in the dark. It was very difficult, to rest the container on my lap because I'm using spoon and fork, and I can't even see what I'm spooning at. hehe. But it was worth the shot. So what's the most unusual you ate at the cinema?

LOL No, I couldn't remember. All I could remember from that movie is that I can't stop crying, and my seatmates (particularly Wenga) are crying too.

Well, Moulin Rouge is one of my favorite movies. I have been moved a lot by it. Whenever I hear a song from the movie, I feel my heart constrict. I guess that's why I just can't remember anything else. I don't even remember we've watched it after Christmas Party.

Hmmm, hot shots... I'm drooling right now... Santol? Now that's weird. I haven't tried eating fruits inside the cinema. Maybe because I'd enjoy it too much, I wouldn't be paying attention to the movie anymore. hehe. Anyway, it's a good thing that you didn't have bagoong. It's either the crowd would get angry for the smell, or they'll get angry because you're not sharing. ^__^

you are right there. if i bring bagoong in a movie house i might not have a chance to eat it for they will grab the bagoong and have it for themselves. my friend brings butong pakwan on cinema and i really dont want to sit beside her. its noisy lol and sometimes the sound of her opening it with her teeth distracts my watching

you ate rice inside a theater?? i have never done that! that probably took a lot of effort since its dark there. ^__^;; this is probably not the weirdest, and its probably not weird for other people, but in my experience, the weirdest thing i have eaten is popcorn, (not really weird huh? ^__^;;) flavored wasabi! it wouldn't be unusual if its regular popcorn or popcorn with flavors like barbecue, sour and cream, etc, but to buy a wasabi-flavored popcorn?? ^__^;; i guess we were just feeling a little crazy and adventurous that night that's why we ordered a wasabi-flavored popcorn. i couldn't eat it. LOL i was only able to eat it when mixed with popcorn of another flavor. and i would take a sip of my softdrink immediately after a bite. ^__^;; we didn't manage to eat all of it. in the end, we threw all what was left and that was almost one half of it.

yup. there's a wasabi-flavored pop corn. they have this powdered wasabi and they mixed it with the pop corn. it didn't just taste hot, it tasted bitter! i don't like wasabi too but it was one of those days we wanted to try something odd.

Ew, wasabi? I don't like it's taste, it's too hot! I didn't even know there are wasabi-flavored popcorns. And I can't imagine how it would taste... Well of course it would taste like wasabi. lol. But does popcorn and wasabi go together just fine? I don't think I could ever be as adventurous as you and try something like that. hehe.

That beats Me...I've brought in my own Drinks and munchies, but other than popcorn,I've never eaten warm/hot food in a Cinema, though I've been in places that offer hot dogs and nacos..!

Hotdogs are okay, but nacos are difficult to eat in the cinema because of the cheesy sauce that drips all over. I've tried it once, but I wouldn't do it again. hehe.

Hi swirl, hows your day my friend? My weidest food i ate in cinemas are fried peanuts and banana Q as we called it here in the philippines. Sounds too cheap but its really a good food and it taste nice. I just put it in my pocket so that i can enter, they don't allowed those kind of foods inside. So funny ha, but thats true we do that in my highschool years as I remember long time ago.

Hi friend, I believe yes banana Que is not allowed to theaters specially if the high classified secret weapon stick is included in the package. Anyway I also believe that banana Ques is also for afternoon snack but who cares if we want to eat banana Que anywhere-anytime. Thanks for the reply and have a nice day.

Why don't they allow banana-que in the theaters anyway? I've never tried that so I didn't know it's not allowed. I think banana-que is good, especially for afternoon snacks.
