You are the most popular one on here grandpa.. I really don't remembe how I got to you, it had to be through someone else, but I did and it is great to be linked with a star on Mylot.. Remember, you are known by the friends that you keep.. You go grandpa..

I really haven't noticed. I usually just accept and go on.

Me myself when I come on mylot I looked over and did some discussions and judged who to add by the style of discussions they were making and the topics so this could also be what is happening to you.

Maybe someone invited them to this site and told them to be sure to look up Grandpa Bob. I seldom have anyone ask me I usually have to do the asking.

hi Grandpa Bob the same thing has happened to me several times and I am never sure just what to do. I mean they' did not have one point and some only had two and had just signed on. Maybe it would be okay but it looks like they were surfing for someone or something. also had one that had a zillion friends but only ten posts and he had been there for months. I was told he might be a troll do I deleted him and my star rose'immediately from six to eight so I still do not know. I had 'beena ten for a long time til someone took to minusing the heck' out of me and sent me in two days from ten to six but am now back 'up to eight. and am posting enough that minuses will not be so'detremental to my star from now on.

Sorry to confuse you my dear friend! I was over at upsidedown's and helping him to join. I figured you would be a good friend for him! No stalker, no returned member, just a friend of a friend that knows you would be a good friend to him. Thank you for adding him. I know it looked strange to request with a post count of 0 but being the kind person you are, you accepted anyway!1 KUDOS to you!

I wonder about that too...I get a lot of friends request where the poster has just joined and has zero points...like geez..how do they find me?...or you?...or is it cause we're so charming and irresistable and it shows up in our avatars?

That is really strange that someone would find anyone within a few minutes of signing up. I had one a while back that requested my friendship but I never accepted it. The last time I check I think he had over 10,000 friends and still didn't have a post that hadn't been removed. I hadn't checked it out in awhile, so I'm not sure what the stats are on him, but I still haven't accepted his friendship.

I have gotten a few of these myself and I have no idea how they findmy discussions but I accept them anyway. :)

That's never happened to me. I guess I'm just not as popular as you! I have to say that when i first registered with myLot, it took me the first few minutes just to find my way around. I don't think I'd have known how to add a freind within the first few minutes. Could your friend be an old friend returned under a new identity?

i've been in an opposite scenario. i just joined and quickly 2 users requested to be my friends. one, i recognized as my referrer; the other i really don't know but it won't hurt accepting any friend request i guess.^_^

I never really thought about it I just approve them, usually most don't respond to my posts so I guess it doesn't matter much.

I have had that happen too, I do not usually accept them now. The ones that I find most strange are when someone with a zero asks to be friends and then they never seem to log in again! I am guessing that they go and look on the ratings pages and then go from there. Who knows.

maybe you post the discussion that interest them or maybe your image is quite adorable...more friends,more responders.

Even i do accepts friends request whenever i do see in my profile.I also do not see what is his/her rating i just accept it. I could remember when i joined mylot same condition was there i rquested a friend over mylot having more than 4000 points and i found that she accepted my request without having a feeling that he has 0 points. i felt very happy that time.I like this thing specially in mylot. Good luck friends keep on posting !!
