So I hear that camping is the #1 outdoor activity for the summer. I havent been camping in probably years! Im not big on having to pee in the woods! lol I love being outside, being able to jump in the lake, go fishing, sitting outside with friends and family and just hanging out. I would really like to go again, since its been forever since Ive been!

No, but I would like to go. But I am afraid to go since there are so many bad things happening to people. This was one of my favorite dreams, but now it has become my nightmare! I am scared to take a chance to go on this journey.. If I was to go, it would not be a remote place.. I will have to have experienced people along with me.. It would have to be at least 20 people that I would take with me.. I have to have more people, no less than that..

I'm not sure what you heard or read, but going camping is great, being outdoors and just relaxing. There are so many nice campgrounds around, and no fear of 'bad things' happening while you are camping there. Going camping does not mean that you are going into a remote location out in the middle of nowhere. It's too bad that you won't experience your dream because of whatever you heard or read about.

i haven't gone for camoing yet. But i love to go for it with all my best friends. Its really adventerous to do camping in the deep forest. It will surely increase our confidence level and courage.

I used to go camping to the seaside with my parents when i was younger, and indeed it was enjoyable, i wouldn't change the time i spent back them with them. I also love being outside. I haven't been to a mountain camping resort yet though.

The last camping I went was way back when I was in school. It was a 2 day camp out in the forests. It was an amazing experience as we had to literally live like the forest people. Those two days we had to prepare our own meals, bathe in the forest lakes, wash our own clothes and had bonfires and stuff.Thoroughly enjoyable it was!

I so love to go camping. It sucks being so pregnant cause well I miss camping. Some say just go and I say they are crazy. Just the million potty breaks would drive me insane yet alone trying to get up from so low to the ground when sleeping.

I used to go while growing up but in a self contained camper so there was no peeing in the woods LOL...we had a microwave and a/c so we didn't exactly "rough it". Three years ago I bought an old used 27 foot pop up. It was pretty basic...beds and a kitchenette. I had to take the stove out because the pipes looked dangerous so all I really had was a counter top and sink. Anyway, before I got to use it a tree fell on it. I still have it and it could be fixed with a lot of work and money...not really worth it for a 30 year old pop up I bought for $100, but it has sentimental value so I can't seem to part with it.

No I don't really. It's too hot and humid here in the summer time and I don't really enjoy outdoor activities that much. Therefore I don't really go camping. Besides, it's hard to find somewhere to camp here when everything is surrounded by buildings and skyscrapers.

I love camping. Have gone camping for most of my life. Some with my family and some with Girl Guides. Never camped in anything but a tent. Haven't gone in the last couple years but this summer we are going to do a bit. So looking forward to it.

Camping is not for me... I definitely enjoy indoor plumbing, hot water, and a nice cozy bed to sleep in. I can only remember going camping in a tent once in my life. I remember it rained terribly, and the tent leaked and we all got wet. Not my idea for relaxation.

I've gone camping a few times with my friends and family. I like to go fishing! And then go and cook it over an open fire. Mm!

I love being at the cabin in the mountains. There are no electricity and no water, but it has beds and other pluses compared to camping. I really dislike sleeping in a tent, and I think going on a holiday in a mobile home sounds really horrid.

pond at campgrounds - pond where the dog goes for a swim
We usually go camping at least one weekend a month during the summer. In fact, we are going camping for a 3 day weekend next weekend. I am so ready to get away from the house, just the two of us and our dog. We normally go to a small campground about 40 minutes away, tent, cook out, etc. It has a pool, small on-site store, and a pond the dog can swim in. It also has showers/restrooms, which we normally make use of unless it's after dark, then the woods it is, instead of walking down to the bathroom.

Well, I have gone camping all of my life, ever since I was a very little child. We started out going in tents, then my parents bought a small trailer, then a larger one. They now have a moter home, that is fantastic.I love going with them in the moter home.I still go ever now and then, but not like I used to. I have a lot of health problems.I have been didabled for 22 years. But I love spending time outdoors.Camping is so much fun, I love get getting away, cooking outdoors, when it is cool enough, having a campfire, sitting out around it cooking hot dogs, marshmellows, fishing, swimming. There is nothing else like it in the world.

We love to camp whenever we get an opportunity. A couple of years ago (after the youngest child moved out on his own) we purchased a small camper van. Now we can spend all day outdoors, but have someplace guaranteed dry to sleep in, and it has a potty!
