I have never heard this and am not sure what it means. I am interested in hearing what it means.

I don't know if I beleive it is true or not. I have heard that it is possible to curse others and I beleive others can help heal others but I don't know if I beleive that they can really curse someone or not.

Never heard it before, until now. Do tell, do tell.

Ah, I don't think you can wish bad luck on someone. Life is life, good and bad. I'd rather light a candle than curse someones darkness.

I have heard of people putting roots down.
Maybe that is a similar phrase, like pinning
all your hopes on one person or one
situation and hoping that it
works out!

cream I have never even heard of this nor do I really
know what it means? is this the equivalent of some sort
of curse? if so the only way it would work is if the person
cursed really belived in it otherwise no harm would be done.
explain just what you mean please.

I have not heard that expression in a long time, I remember my grandmother saying it.
Not sure if it is true, depends on the indivuals thinking. If you are superstious, I guess you will believe that it can be done.
It must be some sort of tribal ritual.

yes i believe. i can't believe no one up here has heard of it. one way for a female to put roots on a man is to have him eat your food you cooked with one exception... the root has to have the ladys period blood in the food. Most of the time the females choice of food is spaghetti. men beware

Roots extend as far as the imagination....food is an old, old way of putting roots on a person. In South Carolina....there are people who can put root on coins ( to place under a pillow or mattress...and put roots on hair strands.... that world isn't limited to food..food is the most lame way to accomplish putting roots on anyone...if you were from the south you'd have been raised with the saying " don't eat everybodys cookin'"....
