Pet insurance?

Do any of you have pet insurance? If so is it worth it and what is the best company to use?

I have never had pet insurance on any of my pets. It may have come in handy earlier this year when I took my brothers dog in for hip surgery though. It was a total of almost $500.

My mother had it on her dog. It was helpful when the dog needed surgery. It also saved on several vet visits. I am not sure of the company she used. See if your vet recommends a pet insurance company. Here in Missouri alot of people use PETPLAN. You can look them up on the net for your area.
