This post is one that I make on behalf of both myself and my wonderful friend weemam. I asked you guys to help with prayers , positive thought , sending energies etc and you have responded so wonderfully and been so supportive that it really reinforces my belief in the friendship, love and support that abounds in the wonderful people on this site and leaves me humbled.
I said in my last post that weemam had a trapped nerve but that was just a misunderstanding between myself and her son - it would seem that it is a muscular or soft tissue injury but whatever it was very severe on Monday and after speaking with her every day I am so glad to tell you that between all the good wishes, prayers etc of you guys, pain medication and rest she is feeling a lot better than she was and is well on the mend now. She asked me to pass along her thanks - although she hasn't been able to respond to anyone here she has read all of the responses and was touched - she told me to let you all know she was so thankful; and that her heart was filled with all the kindness and support that has been shown - even by people that know neither of us! So once again I say Thank You for this and for being my friends! Have you ever been helped this way? Do you think it helps? xxx

Howdy Mo, I knew she had to be feeling better as I found her in a discussion of Ivor, I scolded her for not resting, bad girl! I am so glad she is doing better. But she still needs to take it easy. Let her body heal proper. Oh I do believe in the power of positive energy, no matter how it is sent. Prayers, well wishes loving scoldings, it all works. :)(:

That is wonderful news Mummymo. Weemam is such a trouper. Send her my love and I hope she's up and about very very soon. As for me. You know the answer to that I think. Virtual lifesavers and like a bunch of sisters, mothers and just plain bossy boots to me. I'd not have it any other way. But you know that don't you. XX

She truly is p1ke darling, she truly is! I happen to know she is going to leave the house tomorrow to drive her parents to the post office and supermarket and she has promised not to overdo it as I was very worried and tried to persuade her to let my other half take them!
I do know that and I was trying to figure which I was til I realised i was the thigh hight leather bossy boots! lol xxx

The power of prayer and more so the power of karma! It's amazing just what support there is on this site, it's like a big family that we all rally around to the cause and we are there to give help, support, guidance and love, it makes the world a better place, that so many people genuinely care and want to be supportive, even to people they have never seen! Just shows that the world is not always a big bad ugly place. I am so pleased to hear the wonderful news about Gran! I am sorry to tease her with the hobnobs, we'll finish the packet off for her eh sis! As you know I was overwhelmed with support, love and people being there for me when I went through a very bad patch in life and it pulled me through and for that I will always be thankful and I was deeply touched xxxx

Oh Goody - more hobnobs for us! lol I think it is wonderful that people you have never even met on this site can give up time, effort and energy to try and make life better for you! Truly wonderful! Sweety you always give out more love and support than ou could ever hope to get back - you are my beloved and cherished little brother and I am so proud of you - remember YOU changed your life and YOU were very strong to do it - we all just helped to hold your hand along the way! At heart people are basically good. Though evil often seems to win out I expect that is due to entropy as much as anything.... So although I do not especially believe in prayer in the traditional sense I also believe that good men need to do SOMETHING.

oh yes! when I had my operation back in Sept. I got all the prayes energies and love from all my frinds here and I could feel it I still have energies coming my way uhgs and blessing to you both So glad she is getting better and will soon be up and around again soon!

IT does help a lot!!! I am really gald to hear that weemam is doing better! I am touched as well that all my friends have been so supportive of me over the last couple of weeks. You know what I have been going through and what I have been dealing with. the love and support I have gotten from my friends here has definatly made a difference for me. I am glad I was able to extend the same to my friends when they have needed it as well.
Someone had told me once that you can't really be friends with people that you only know online, you can't get to know them as much so how can you be friends? I personally think that here online we can get to know people better becasue there is nothing to hide behind, no hidden agendas, and you get to know a person for who they really are. Plus there are no boundries as far as where a person is from.
Sorry I kinda went off on a tangent there, but I am defiantly thankful for my friends here and I hold all of you close to my heart! Please tell weemam for me that she needs to not overexert herself and we can't wait to see her back up and running again!

It is wonderful when you have a friendship like that isn't it - where you just totally understand each other? I think it is wonderful that you can have that friendship with someone you haven't met face to face and I know it adds a lot to both of your lives! As for tangents - I do that all the time too - so it must be a good idea! lol
Weemam is now doing much better but still needs to be careful not to aggravate it again - and I keep telling her that! lol
Free the Ooompah Loompahs? Maybe I shall come across an explanation for this as I catch up on everything i have been missing lately or perhaps it is another tangent? lol xxx

[I go off on tangents quite often don't I? lol It does remind me though of a friend I have had for 8 years. She lives in Canada, and while we have never met, we have watched our kids grow up in pictures, we have cried together and have been there for each other. It's one of the strongest friendships I have.
I am really glad that weemam is doing better and give her a hug for me when you can ok?

Hi mummymo! I am happy to hear that weemam is alright now and I do hope and pray that she will be in excellent condition for a very, very long time. I have always believed in the power of prayers and have relied to a few people here too. I have been supported by friends here including you when I needed some support. I have also been helped by a very special friend here named Darkwing when I was really depressed before. I have asked her to send me positive energies and she did. I felt it and I believed it. And because of that, I was touched with so much kindness here that when I pray each night, I always include all of you my friends here in my prayers. Mylot became a lifeline to me and I thank God for having friends like Darkwing, Katesmama, you and a few more here.

Faith sweetheart I do know Darkwing and Katesmama and I feel very lucky to have them as friends ( you already know I feel blessed to have you as a friend) and I would do anything within my powers to help you if I could! I have to say that weemam is not fully recovered but is on the way there now! Hugs sweetheart! xxx

Just happy to meet so many good people here and it is truly a blessing that we could always find support through prayers and positive thoughts with each other and of course having those laughs with the jokes/funny stories being send by raydene every once in awhile. This place is a blessing.

Hi mummymo... please forgive me for not getting to that discussion of yours... my life has become so hectic that I feel like I'm spinning out of control! I started another discussion telling that I finally got to see an audiologist and about mom going to the doctor again and found out she has a broken rib. It's never ending here gal. NEVER!! However, you and weemam were in my thoughts and prayers even though I didn't respond to the other discussion but you two were never far from my mind!! Glad to know she's ok!!

Cats sweety I am really pleased to see you here but please never feel the need to apologise for being late into or not making it into any of my discussions - no pressure here! I am hoping that wee is still ok as she went out today and I am afraid she may have overdone it - I shall be tallking to her later and find out whether or not she has! I don't want my dear friends who've supported me all through my trial time to think that I can't support them in their time of trials. I care about you all just as much as you care about me. It's just the way that I am. Although, I can't be everywhere at once, I still think about you and the others.

I am seeing so much of this on here just lately, people asking for prayers and thoughts for problems and issues and then saying that things had gone well or healed or whatever. I guess there really must be something in it after all, although I must admit I am still more of a sceptic than a believer. But I am really glad that your friend is getting better it is really good to hear.

hi mummymo I am so glad that we mylotters prayers really
'helped Weemam. Soft tissue injuries can be very painful
and if we have helped I am really glad. The power of group
prayers is a wondrous thing and it does work indeed. I have been helped myself by friends who prayed for me and it does work.

I know it works sweety - I have been on the receiving end myself and it is great to know you have been helped this way too! Weemam is doing very much better now , I m glad to report although she will have to be careful not to aggravate things by doing too much, as I keep reminding her! lol Hugs to you my newest friend! lol xxx

Hello, my dear friend. I'm sorry I missed your previous discussion, but I've just been and added myself to the huge circle of well-wishers you found for Weemam. I firmly believe that a whole lot of positive energies and prayers sent together will certainly pull anybody through a bad time. You only have to look at Lakota for proof of that. That is one strong and determined lady, whom I admire greatly. I know Weemam is of the same ilk, and so are you my friend. My energies are being sent to both of you, that you find the strength to tread the path to recovery very soon, just as our Lakota did. All you have to do is believe, and think positive.

Positive reinforcement, prayers, thoughts and all of that good stuff, most certainly help when one is in a time of need or discomfort.
I am so glad to hear that you have received such support from the myLot users. This is a great community to be in and it does not surprise me at all that they have been so overwhelmingly thoughtful!
Hope your friend is better now, and continues on to a great recovery process.

Oh I am really pleased to hear that Weemam is on the mend and hopefully it won't be too long before she is back on and responding herself eh! I do believe in the power of prayer and positive thoughts. I haven't asked for help for myself but did post a discussion when my dad was first diagnosed with cancer and received many prayers and we found out on the 19th June that he has won the battle, yippee, and I do believe all the prayers and the positive thinking did help. Ellie :D
