On Valentine's Day, one of the most popular gifts are rose bouquets. But they are also favorites on any other occasion at any time of the year. You may be sending roses but of a color which means something quite different from the message you intended to relay by the gift of roses.Do yopu know the meaning of the color of the roses you send to your friends and loved ones?

I believe the following are the meaning of the roses colors: Red-romantic love and enduring passion Yellow-jealousy White-purity pink-femininity, elegance orange-desire lilac-love at first sight

That's nice to know. Would you know why they were given this symbolism? Like for example, why does yellow stand for jealousy, lilac-love at first sight?
