It's been 3 months now and T-moblie is driving me crazy since I signed up for there service. I live in town and I have to sit on my front pourch to get any service and sometimes I have walk around holding my phone up in the air to get a bar. They said you schould be getting 4 bars where your at. They have sent 4 techs out to look at the towers and fix them and still no service. They said I can get a hot spot phone so I can use my wireless internet to get service. Well they want me to pay for a new one and they are crzy thinking I'm going to pay them to get a new phone they need to give me one. So next week I'm driving my happy butt to the store and Im not going to leave untill they give me a phone.....lol Im so mad right now!! Has anyone had the same problem or something like this?

I don't understand. You should get service unless you live in a cave or on top of a mountain. Yes, do insist they give you another phone and also make them move your stored numbers already programmed in your cell to the new one. They can do it. One guy tried to tell me that he didn't know if he could. Who was he fooling, he did it in just a few seconds. Only time I don't have good service is when I am in a parking garage and it's not always bad. Just once in awhile it happens. So my solution: I don't use my cell in a parking garage! If it rings I don't answer but will return the call once I am out of the garage.

that is really bad... i will also demand a compensation from the company if i experience the same thing as you... we pay for the service and we expect to get the value for the money that we had already spent on them... so you did the right thing... don't pay them anymore money and ask them to replace you with a new phone... that's what they have to do anyway... good luck and i hope you will succeed in getting your new phone... take care and have a nice day...

I actually have tmobile and I've ben with them since 2/25 of this yr. And for some reason when it rains really bad I get horrible signal, or sometimes my phone will drop calls with 4 bars, and yeah those things suck, but nothing I can't deal with. But with you, I think that's stupid. What kind of phone do you have? And that was another thing, when I went to tmobile, I wanted a sidekick and the guy tried to talk me into buying some crappy little phone, which didn't make sense, because if I would have said yes then he would have lost a sale. Oh well, I hope you get it fixed

Are you sure it's the phone problem?Maybe there is less sign in your town. You should take the phone to the enter of city, and you pay attentions for the phone sign, you will found out the trouble, then you can decide wether the phone's problem or service. But sometims the phone has the problem,i can't call out to the anyone, but a short passing time,it became ok,I don't know, i guess that it's the sign tower's problem,i have no idea to deal with it,luckly, the most time i find the sevice is better.

mobile phones have always been a boon while the services has always disappointed us. i feel the customer care people are also no good to us as they dont assist you properly. i hope they improve their services so that we enjoy our usage.

Well I got a cell phone voice mail from 1.5 years ago today, haha. I have verizon wireless and my house is in a ditch pretty much so i get no service until I leave my area. This is SOOO annoying because I get that text message saying "wanna go to the 3:00 movie" at like 9:00. I wish they would build a verizon tower in my backyard but what can you do. The best the I found is to take a walk up my street to where I get service and get all my messages at once every few hours. (I guess I should have taken there "if you find no service you get it free" challenge....)

I use prepaid phone service. They even have plans with no contracts. I know Tmobile even has that if you don't already use that option. Good luck with trying to get a phone company to work with you. They won't give you a new phone and if you can't use your phone you will want to cancel and they will charge you $$$!

We had the same problem when my husband bought a Spring/Nextel hybrid phone, where the phone service was provided by Sprint with Nextel handling the 2-way. I still had my Nextel and we could be sitting next to each other, me with four bars and him with none. Most of the times calls wouldn't go through and, if he did manage to talk to someone, the call would usually get dropped after a few minutes. He was assured by the Sprint rep before he bought this phone that we had good coverage in our area but when I checked the coverage map on the Sprint website, it showed that we had no Sprint service whatsoever so I called them. At first the woman on the phone didn't want to give me a break on a replacement phone until she looked at the lack of coverage in our area. She said the other rep shouldn't have sold him the phone in the first place so she offered me a replacement Nextel phone that retailed for almost $300 for $20. We sold the Sprint hybrid on Ebay. Stand your ground when you go to the store. T-mobile has no business selling products they can't support with their network and, as long as you're getting some signal and able to use your phone, it's working properly so it's not the phone...it's them.

That service sucks big time I hope they can give you a phone that works all over the place. Sitting on your porch? That's just plain dumb! If you get tired of T-Mobile, try Virgin Mobile. The phones are not expensive, the plans are cheap and are pre-paid plans and there is no roaming charges. 3 months of T-Mobile or any other cell phone service should not be driving you nuts! Good luck getting something that works for you

i had a major problem with t-mobile. i was going to wait till my contract expired with cingular. i had family and a co-worker that spoke well of t-mobile. so i went to the store and they said if i'd sign up with them then when my contract expired they'd port my number so that i could keep it and i could be with t-mobile. Nightmare began. t-mobile took my number 2 weeks EARLY. they BREACHED my contract w cingular. forcing my to call up cingular to port my number back to avoid paying $200 penalty. so cingular ported my number back but they were mad so they charged my a reactivation fee. i thot why should i have to pay when i had nothing to do w it. the agreement was when my contract expired then t-mobile would take my number. now t-moble apologized and said this happens sometimes, but they wouldn't pay the reactivation fee. so the charge is still on my record. collection agencys have contacted me. i stated my case but no one seems to care. thing is i haven't paid it nor will i since it was out of my hands. they can't really do anything. the only time it could hurt me is if i bought a house. but if i state my case they may be understanding about it.
