You are having a lunch party for six. There must be three women and three men and you are one of them. Other than that your guests can be anyone you wish, living or dead. The table layout must be boy girl boy and reversed across the table so that each guest sits beside and opposite a member of the opposite gender. So who will you choose and why? Mine are: Kylie Minogue George Clooney Me The Boss Phoebe Nicholls Anthony Clare Phoebe is a UK actress and Anthony Clare was a psychiatrist. Over to you.

Ok Me and my eldest daughter, David Jason, Nelson Mandela, Nicholas Cage, Fern Britton, Anne Robinson & Annie Lennox. That should be a fair mix of age groups and people personalties and make for some very interesting conversation. Ellie :D

What a GREAT question! OK...my 2 cents: Kurt Cobain - cause I want to know if he killed himself or if someone else pulled the trigger. Angelina Jolie - so I could find out if she's REALLY that good looking in person. Me - because what's the point of this exercise if I'm not there????? My wife Andrea - because she wouldn't believe it unless she were there. Phil Mickelson - so I could get free golf tips and give him some of my own :) Jessica Biehl - don't know why really.....

A very eclectic grouping. I have to come clean and say that I've never heard of Owen Hart. He looks like a wrestler if that is him in your avatar picture - I assume that it is not you! I think that Elvis and Mother Theresa would be great lunch companions. Good choices.

My pleasure. I don't see why you shouldn't have a wrestler as your idol. I'm a great fan of an actress named Phoebe Nicholls. If you can tell me anything about her without looking her up I'll be seriously impressed!

If I had a lunch party I'd want it to be awesome. So can I change things up a bit? I'm going to have to change the reservations slightly so I can accommodate for the entire cast of CSI (Vegas only), lol. I choose them because they are great actors and I'd want to know more about them and their craft.

I have no idea how many are in the cast of CSI. I have to confess to never having watched it, or much else recently. I have a TV set but rarely bother to look at anything except the news. Anyway. Bring them along and enjoy.

An impressive line up. I'll take your word for it that Robbie Williams is cute. He does little for me but he can hold a tune. Thank you Evviesands.

Ok my two other women would be Madonna and Margaret Thatcher. Both of them have complex and interesting personalities and I like a good debate which I think both of them could provide. The men would be Jesus, William Wallace and Keith Richards. Jesus because although I'm an atheist I have a few questions I'd like answered and also I want to see what it was about him that made all these people sit up and listen. William Wallace because I'd like to hear his views on the current Scottish Executive and Keith Richards because I've had a crush on him since I was 14 years old.

No I don't think he would be impressed either lol. I'm not sure my guests would get along with each other but it would be a lunch to remember anyway!

My goodness that would be a heck of a lunch table Stiletto. I suspect that William Wallace wouldn't be overly impressed and Margaret Thatcher will have a few views on that too!

That's really difficult. I can think of loads of men but not many women... Oh actually, there would be JK Rowling, of course I would be one of the women and Beatrix Potter. As for the men, I can think of lots. Which ones... Can I pick more? There would be Stephen Fry, Richard Hammond and David Tennant. Now, you want to know why. Well, JK Rowling because she wrote my favourite books, I could ask her further questions about Harry Potter and she also seems to be an interesting woman who went from being a single mum on benefits to being one of the most famous people in the world. I think she would be a fantastic person to talk with. Beatrix Potter, mainly because I couldn't think of another woman I'd particularly like to meet! Well, I quite like her stories and she could entertain my children! Stephen Fry because he is my idol! I think he's fantastic. He seems rather like me in that he knows random stuff and is interested in everything. I could be silly or intellectual with him and I like to be random like that. Hammond and Tennant mainly just for aesthetic value. ;P Although I wouldn't mind talking about what they do.
@p1kef1sh (45681)

LOL. Aesthetic value Pumpkin? Why not. I'd love to talk to Beatrix Potter. She had a fascinating younger life and ended up being quite a successful armer.

Kylie Minogue rocks! I would go with: Bono- because I love him and met him once. I would love to get to talk with him again. Hitler- I would love to smack his little a$$ down and inflict some torture on him. I would also like to let him know just what a coward he was. F. Scott Fitzgerald- I would like to talk about writing with him. For the females: Mother Teresa- she is the epitomy of goodness. Marilyn Monroe- I would just like to see how beautiful she really was. Sylvia Plath- Another one I would like to talk about writing with. So that's my crazy mix!

13 Jul 08
It would definitely be a great conversation but Hitler would probably be sitting there with one eye poked out and some missing limbs...
@p1kef1sh (45681)

That is a crazy mix Skinny. Hitler and Mother Theresa at the same table. I think that Sylvia Plath would be a formidable guest too.
12 Jul 08
Oooh what fun! I would invite Lee Evans as I think he'd make everyone laugh. Leonardo Da Vinci as I am fascinated by his work and Albert Einstein. The women would be myself, Aaliyah and Coco Chanel. What an odd bunch of people, I hope they get on...
@p1kef1sh (45681)
12 Jul 08
Sounds a very eclectic bunch. I am afraid that I don't know who Aaliyah is. But I'm sure that she is interesting. Enjoy the party.

Sometimes you can go somewhere and have the most fascinating converstation with a total stranger,and im not at all sure who I would want to go to a lunch party with.But if that person who was going to have that fascinating conversation with me was going to be there,I would be eternally grateful.Im none too worried by fame and fortune,anyone will do as long as they are interesting.

I agree. You can also sit amongst friends and be bored to tears. I'd pop over Ella. But I'm stuck in this nappy and the bus driver says that I can't travel without my mummy!
