When I was a child just about everyone bought the daily newspaper every day. There were weekend papers and even morning and afternoon edition on week days. Now days tehre are less newspapers, but still papers everyday. With the huge growth of the internet who still buys Newspapers ?I now only get one on the weekend from time to time, as most of what I want can be found online. How about you ?

In my country on line reading is just about a boom here. But not at all spend much time at internet cafe just reading news much more of owning a personal computer at home. So newspaper here is still the best and most practicable way of reading news. Besides the people here are not quite yet accustomed to of reading news thru the computer. We are not yet in that stage of such technology savvy. Maybe after a couple of decades a significant number of our people would already shift to reading news thru computer. There is no replacement yet knowing the news of the day just by flipping the pages in your finger.

Hi We buy two news papers every day, one national newspaper and another locally published. I go through the headlines of these two every day morning. Most of the families here in my country subscribe news papers and read them regularly even though, through internet and TV we have the access of latest news.

I rarely buy newspapers. I might buy a local evening paper about once a month but thats about it. We have a couple of 'free' papers delivered once a week but, otherwise I catch the news on TV/radio/online.

In my country (Phils.) for me to get a detailed story about the news,i buy newspapers.because there are also times that i miss watching the news so better buy a hard copy so you won't miss out the news of the day.In the internet you can also read news but it's different when your holding the news in your hand its a lot easier than browsing the internet sometimes the internet connection is too slow you'll get upset then give up you miss the news unlike the newspapers its easier and faster no need to wait for the connection even if its brownout you can still read the newspaper.
