Do you believe that there are really angels here on earth? Have you ever had an experience that led you to believe that you had actually met an angel? Do you think what appears to be a normal human being could really be an angel? Do you believe there are different types of angels? What is their purpose? Please share your experiences!

hi jj! i don't think there are real angels here on earth. real angels as in those with wings, heavenly aura and pure personality. but if we are talking about angels, people that are nice with sincere personality and always ready to help others, then i believe we have that kind of angels here on earth. but i also think that this kind of people with angelic personality, only comes a few. we don't have many of them here on earth. and only good and deserving people will have the chance to come across with them. and usually these deserving people would be on the brink of depression or giving up when they encounter these angels to lift their spirits up.

Beautiful response! I love how you made the distinction between Heavenly and earthly angels. You're so right that earthly angels are here with us right when we need them...kind and selfless individuals who can encourage us when we're down. Oh, and you're so right about how rare they are! Wow, if only there were more of those earthly angels. What a different place this world would be, don't you think? I really like your response and can tell you really thought about this topic. I believe I've met some angels here on myLot too! Thanks for a wonderful response and take care.

Hi Girlfriend, Well, I have an episode to tell you about and it probably sounds pretty corny but, I'm going to tell you anyway, haha. I'll try to make it short. I believe she was either an angel in human form or just plain sent to me. My sister years ago was diagnosed with liver disease. I went to a health food store to see what I could find and was in there for like, twenty minutes, looking around. Didn't know what the heck I was looking for but felt so desperate to help her somehow. The clerk finally asked me if I needed help finding anything, and of course I explained I was looking for something to help my sister combat liver disease. I could tell she didn't know at all. She started to suggest certain vitamins, etc., and I just wasn't comfortable with it all. I felt it was just a ploy to get me to buy something. Out of nowhere came a young woman up to me and said "Buy her some Milk Thistle tea, it will help". I all of a sudden felt pretty good about it, so I bought it. Something about the woman made me feel she knew what she was talking about. To make this really, really short, her test a year later showed the disease was not cured, but not any worse. More or less stabilized. The doctor asked if she was doing anything different and she mentioned the tea. He said to keep on taking it because it seemed to be working well for her. This was twelve years ago and she's still here. I have another story too which just plain sounds silly but this seems long enough for now. Good fun discussion JJ!

Hi, Kash! Wow, ok so now you've really got me hooked. What a beautiful story (truthful story, of course). I believe every word you typed. Perhaps the woman was an angel sent to you in human form. Who knows...the important thing is that she helped your sister live at least 12 years longer than she probably would have without some assistance. Please tell me another of your stories! You've got me completely curious now! (LOL) I wouldn't mind a longer response on this one. Make it as long as you want because I love reading your posts, and it won't bother me a bit to have to read your explanation. (It'll also make you more $$$ for a longer post, so go for it!) It's compeltely related to the subject of this discussion so please be my guest! I look forward to it, my friend. It's an honor to hear from you.

I very much believe in Angels. I also believe there are different types of Angels. I believe Angels saved me before. I was in a bad car wreck a few years ago. My car didn't have air bags, I had something better. I had Angel airbags surrounding me and protecting me. Thats what it felt like when I was sitting there trapped in the car while waiting for the firemen to get me out of the car.

Wow, that's an amazing testimonial. I, of course, believe in them also...different kinds, different purposes, etc. I think they're essential to a peaceful life. They're God's messengers to us. They touch us and are a part of our lives each and every day even without our knowledge of them. I'm glad your life was spared that day. It's great to learn of your experience. I appreciate you taking the time to share in this discussion! Have a fabulous day, Polly!

Hi JJ. You should know I would respond to this one. Angels? Of course they are here. They are all around us - all the time. You just have to know how to see them. I have seen several angels, both good and bad. The most recent angel I saw was, of all places, on my patio. It was an angel that appeared as a small child. She was kneeling beside a chair on my patio as if she were praying. The reason I know I saw her is, my dog Wolfie, saw her too. Normally, he runs out the back door announcing to the world that he's up and awake and ready to chase kitties. This particular morning, he ran out the door as usual, but he stopped in his tracks without barking, looked toward what I believe I saw. He looked back up toward me as if he were asking, "Do you see her"? He hopped down the stairs and walked quietly over to the angel - and here is the beauty part....He sat back and raised both of his front feet as if he were joining the little angel in prayer. The angel continued to pray uninterupted but then, suddenly vanished. Wolfie skipped back inside as if it was an every day occurance. No big deal. I was speechless and breathless at what I just partook of. As I shut the door behind Wolfie I looked back out on the patio. There was a vapor where the angel was kneeling. I smiled and just thanked God for the visitation. I have many stories of angels that I've seen. I know there are different types that serve different purposes. I believe they are sent by God to show us things, tell us things or watch over us in certain incidents. Or, sometimes, they show up to verify things for us. I can share many wonderful stories of angels. If you look up, into the bright blue sky someday, and look "beyond - beyond"....sit still, listen, and watch...you will see the energy the angels emit. They're everywhere!

You're response is so beautiful, Terilee. Thanks for sharing your one experience out of so many! Yes, I did believe you would like this one, so I'm glad to hear from you. Wow, what an amazing story and testimony. Even your dog was calm and at peace at the sight of such a beautiful thing. You’re exactly right in all that you say. God sends us angels for so many different purposes. It all depends on what our needs are at any given time. Sometimes it’s for comfort, other times it’s for reassurance, yet others it’s for protection. This is not to say God can’t do any of that Himself, but he chooses to send an angel as a messenger. He wants to hear from us, so perhaps what you saw that day was His reason for you to speak to Him and to thank Him for what you saw. How amazing. Wow. Perhaps I really haven’t been looking! My life has been such a busy and crazy blur for so long that I don’t believe I’ve been taking the time to see and enjoy what God has been doing. An angel. What a wonderful gift to start off your day. It’s almost like the Northern Lights. They’re there for a brief and beautiful moment to remind us of their beauty, and then the vanish shortly after that. I’d love to read some more of your experiences with wonderful angels when you have the time and care to share. Thanks so much for the encouragement. It’s always such a pleasure to hear from you. Take care, my friend!

Thanks, Marketing. Yes, I believe there are good and bad "angels" (if you'd really call bad ones that). I'm not sure if they take on human form, but it's interesting to think about! Thanks again.

Angels really are creatures of light of what I've heard. I don't know whether or not we humans can see them, but I think it might be a possibility. You're right that angels all have certain jobs. Otherwise, they probably wouldn't exist because they wouldn't serve a purpose! There are angels in Heaven and in hell, but the ones in hell are called demons. Those are angels that aren't of light, but of fire and horrible things like that. Kind of creepy. Thanks for your response, Tayson!

Hi, Kelly! I think you're right on. I've heard we all have a guardian angel as well. I think it's a great thing. You know, it really gives me goosebumps thinking about it because I've heard of people being held up at work or something like that, and had they left in their car when they were normally supposed to, they would've been in a car crash or some horrible accident that might've even taken their life. So, I think that really has to do with angels as well. They keep us from the awful and life threatening things that could happen to us. Don't get me wrong, I think we all ought to be careful and not go doing anything stupid intentionally, but it's really peaceful knowing there's someone there looking out for us here on earth. What a neat feeling! Thanks for your response. I really appreciate it.
