I cannot recall any such gadget, because I do not purchase anything, which is not going to make me feel happy or which is not to be useful for me.

that's a good question. i know there was one as a child but forgot. the only thing i CAN remember is a video i bought. i heard how great it was. the movie goodfellows. based on real mob activity. it was so gross and gory i could not finish it. and i did not want to pass it on to anyone, so i threw it away.

Definitely the steamer we bought to steam vegetables! I think we got it from a catalogue, it was a spontaneous buy at the time, but when it came, I think it stayed in the box for ages, and when we did open it, we had to put it all together and it was too much work trying to fit all the plastic bits and figure out how it worked, so I think it was banished straight back into the box and never opened again. I think we gave it away in the end, waste of money!

Like opening the computer waiting for it to get booted up and scribbling something in a note pad to get it printed with all that commotion. You can scribble it in a piece of paper instead. These gadgets I tell you.

It is nice and good if most of us have this attitude.

Bala, I had bought one LOreal hair epilator, which I had huge fascination for for years. The adverts kind of bowled me and I bought it thinking that it will serve the purpose well. But after only one use, I haven't quite used it. It's so painful that could never think of using it. I would rather go for some simplified, less painful, conventional procedure.

Just the other day I bought a Tennis game for my Wii and found out after I opened it that it is only for right-handed people. I have tried to play the game right-handed (I am left-handed) and have had great difficulty. Now that I have already opened it, the store will not take it back and I am out a lot of money for something I cannot even use. Thanks Zelo
