Well, it isn't a real Job but I will be selling Avon. Do you like those Products? I don't like the perfume, but I like the makeup. I like the Bubble baths bottles, snd the Skin so soft. What do you like or dislike about Avon. I will even have a website for it. I get 50% of the profit, isn't that great?

You get 50% right now, just for the first couple of campaigns, so use that to your advantage and work to get more customers and orders while it lasts. After the first couple of campaigns, the percentage you get depends on your order total. I love Avon and was a representative for about 10 yrs. I don't have a need for any of the products now, and no one to sell to. Good luck!

I come home every day reeking of Avon perfume as I work in their Atlanta warehouse. Idon't care for many of the mens stuff, but one that I really do like is Derek Jeters Driven body wash and cologne. Very nice scent and I get it at an astonishingly low price.

I wish you good luck on your new job! I really recommend the Care Deeply Lip Balm - that stuff is amazing! I have tried all kinds, but that is the absolute best for dry lips. It stays moist and not greasy and moistens dry lips so fast. I wouldn't be without it! I watch for when it is on sale for 99ยข (or less sometimes) and stock up. Don't want to take a chance of beign without it!

I used to buy avon from a girl I worked with. I didn't like the perfumes they smell gross. I never liked there makeup either. I did like the little lip glosses for little girls I used to get them when I was little and they have some cute things for kids in there somethimes like Mickey Mouse bath towels etc but avon is kinda expensive.

That's awesome, Avon isn't too bad, but I use Este Lauder more. That is a pretty good profit though! Maybe I should jump onto the wagon and start selling haha. I don't know if I have a very big market to sale that stuff though, but good luck to you! I am sure you will do very well.

Thats super Marcie, I wish you well with your new adventure. I hope it goes well and you make lots of money. I rarely buy Avon, but if I do plan on buying any I will let you know and buy from you. I have been trying to not spend any money, thats easy to do, I don't have any money to spend, hehe. Its hell to be poor. Why can't we be rich, we deserve it. We are good people, we are nice to people, why can't we be rich,

Good for you!!! Lots of people make a good earning from selling Avon. One of my cousins used to sell it and she made enough to keep her house running all by herself. One thing she did was to always carry samples with her, and she'd give anyone she met a chance to pick a sample or two to try out. Usually that meant a customer for her. (People Love free samples!) I know there's a few things she gave me samples of that I would have never purchased without trying it first. Esp with the perfumes! I like Skin SO Soft! I keep one of those little spray bottles in my car, and if I'm stopping somewhere at a friends evening BBQ, etc, I always spray some on to keep the skeeters away. That stuff works great for that! I'd always be sitting at the picnic table and others would be complaining about the bugs and wondering why I wasn't being pestered. I always let them go to my car and spray some on lol. I've even put it on a towel and rubbed my dog and horses with it sometimes, works there too! Good luck to you!! I'm sure you'll do well with your new venture! Hugs....Joy

Yes it works great against insects. Someone came to my door last night after a bottle. Luckily I always keep a couple of bottles in stock because it is so popular with customers.

Be careful - you get 50% profit gross, but then you have to pay for samples and the new catalog specials and all of that stuff every campaign, that will cut into your profit. Make sure you control what you are spending on yourself and see if you can get people to give you the little books back after they buy. It sounds cheap, but every penny counts. Good luck. I find that Avon has too many impulse items for me. If I look at one book, I will end up buying tons of things I don't need. You would love me as a customer - as a result I don't look at the stuff at all.

My sister and I sell it together. I love their products. Unfortunately, we buy most of the products for ourselves. We only have a few customers so far. Hopefully we will soon get more. The profit you earn depends on how much you sell.

Good luck with your new venture, but why do you say that selling Avon is not a real job? I make good money from it and I know lots of people who do also. I know people who make more full-time with Avon than they ever did in any other job. You do have to spend a few hours each week on it, if you are going to sell lots and make enough money to be equivalent to an ordinary job but you can choose your own hours and that's what makes it better than lots of part-time jobs.

It is nice to hear that you will be selling Avon. I have thought about selling it as well. When you set up your sight, let me know. I like the Naturals peach body lotion. I do not like their perfume either.

Avon can be a fantastic little earner, I made loads selling Avon but it was just too much for me to handle with having little children at the time and so I had to give it up. Of course now with the internet and everything you could make a killing at it with the right market. I like Avon products they are really good and they do what they say but I am allergic to them!! Everytime I use their products I break out in a rash and so I had to stop using them.

Marcia it sounds like you are really going to enjoy yourself with the Avon....BUT please remember the reasons WHY you are doing this and don't spend all of your earnings on the products "I know it's going to be so hard to resist the temptation" .You could create an incentive scheme for yourself, say if you reach certain targets then you can reward yourself with a product of a certain value.

I sell Avon as well. Where I live there's not many people to sell to. Mainly, I just sell it to get a discount on the products I buy. I have quite a few samples I've ordered to pass out to people to try and get more business and also quite a few brochures (I order extra every campaign just so I have them, just in case.). The samples you buy are very nifty for carrying with you somewhere overnight. I really like them. Also, the Island Vibe perfume. I carry sample swatches with me everywhere so I never have to take the whole bottle with me. It's really the only perfume they have that I care for. But, best of luck to you and your new job! Hope it works out well for you! :)
