Vegetables you eat

There are different vegetables one would like to eat, and you may eat it in an orderly manner, that is, one vegetabe one day. And you may prefer to eat some vegetables twice or even thrice a day, considering its cost, utility value etc. May i ask what are your choices or likeings of vegetables? In other words, what are the vegetables which you eat normally?

When I was a child, my mother or I would start a meal by peeling the potatoes. Even though I have learned several ways of preparing potatoes, my husband tires of them rather quickly. My favorite vegetable is the carrot, but my husband will not eat them cooked except in soup or stew. I am also fond of cabbage, but he doesn't want that very often, either. I like corn, and we both like beans. We both like broccoli and cauliflower, either raw or cooked. One vegetable that he likes that I don't is Brussels sprouts. I believe that the three vegetables that appear most often on our table are tomatoes, onions and leaf lettuce. We both like salads with lots of different raw vegetables, and tomatoes and onions can be used in many different ways.

I am really not a vege person although most Trinidadians swear by veges. Apart from rice and potatoes I use only a few like onions, bell peppers and sometimes tomatoes. I got into breadfruit once but found the taste not so attractive. Basically I try to variate my meals but I don't give veges any particular kind of treatment.
