i find cesar montano not good or he does not fit to be hosting that show. i mean why not get someone who knows how to sing. my wife is watching this show not because of cesar but she is watching because she is a singer and she loves answering those question and i can see that she is good. i am enjoying to see that my wife enjoys the show but i am not enjoying on what cesar montano is doing. he looks "hilaw" for the show. the only thing i know is that he is the host of tha t show because he is BUBOY(og) har har har... buboyog. got it? do you have anybody in mind that you think it will fit more likely than him. someone who can sing and can be funny at the same time.

Well I too find it a little bit awkward seeing Cesar Montano hosting the show, but, then like you my wife watches the show because she likes the game itself and is fond of trying to guess the answer by herself. She even is contemplating of joining the game too. LOL! Right now I really do not know who could replace him there but so far he's doing good in hosting lately.

thanks a lot for your response, atleast i am not the only one who is observing this. channel two is not thinking about who to get anymore their priorities is to get the big stars on the boat a=so those big stars wont cross their bor der and go to the other network. billy crawford is awkward too at PDA

Well you're right about that in PDA, Billy looks a bit awkward, I think its because its the first time he really hosted in this station that is why he may act like a Kapamilya but then he is not yet comfortable with the group as of yet. His two co-hosts ladies are just veteran in handling this kind of shows and this is his first.

I think that's why he's perfect for the role of the host, because not only is he "bubuyog" (bee) but he also don't know how to sing. Isn't that what the show is about? You don't need to have a great voice, you only have to know the lyrics.

now you made me angry with your response... you made me so angry that i will grant you the best response. har har har joke. well i think your response made it clear for me why buboy end up hosting the show. just liek to comment about randy, martin and gary i did not say that they are on the same level but i am just saying that martin and gary is like randy who can host a show. thanks a lot for the response and heres the best response for you.

Anyway, my mom said that Singing Bee will only be aired until tonight. Next week it'll be Kris again with Deal or No Deal. So, you won't be seeing much of Buboy anymore. hehehe.@se7enthbird (8307)

Yes, I agree Cesar Montano is not host material. But, he IS a SINGER and in fact, has released an album in the past. Not only that, he plays the guitar very well. So, if musicality were a criteria as to why he was chosen to host the Singing Bee, he is qualified. But then again, being a HOST is an entirely different thing and as good an actor as he may be, it just is not his forte. I do enjoy the show because of its format and the excitement of watching seasoned singers go duh when they get lost in songs.

okay, let me amend that. he thinks he is a singer. I never said I admired him for his singing abilities but he can carry a tune and play the guitar. And I really think hosting is not his cup of tea. Randy Santiago? Yeah, he'd make a better host. But then we are no ABS-CBN to dictate who to host their shows, right? Let's just be thankful they've got an entertaining show.

ouch alena. my dad is a composer. so if you are going to say that he is a singer... he will not pass as a singer. there are a lot of actors-actresses whos released an album but that doesnt mean they are REAL singers. example juday, jolina, gio alvarez. thats the reason why they just released a few for they are not really qualified as singers. i work as a bassist in a band so i know what singers sounds like. but dont you think that randy santiago would be a perfect choice? what do you think? he is funny, he can sing, he can dance and he is good in hosting as well

I have not seen that show but oftentimes saw it in the news...I agree with you, it will be very awkward to have someone as the host who has no talent about it..
We have plenty of singers in the industry who can do that...But, maybe they have a hectic schedule..LOL!

i find him awkward, he is good in something else, why not do that something else rather than force himself into something that does not fit him. the show is nice, although i am not an abs watcher, i can say that the show is nice, it could have been better if they put a more convincing host.

yes i agree... why not put a convincing host. sorry to hear that the show ended yesterday. it was something enjoyable to watch but minus the host. my wife enjoys guessing the songs lyrics. i know my wife has a lot of good time watching the show but i think cesar montano cant hold a show like that so it ended up so soon. thanks for the response

apir tayo tol har har har. i love my wife and thats the only reason why i can stand the show. the only tagalog game show i watch is game ka na ba? i am sure most of the filipino people i know watches edu manzano 6 times i week. you learn from the show it self and you get entertained. thanks a lot for the response

Hi se7enthbird!I think Cesar Montano is doing a good job in Singing Bee. Though he is not a good singer (I think he was a Folk Singer before he became an actor), his character and limitation had rather exposed the good part of the program, which is the game format itself. I share also the same comment when the show was new and Cesar really looks awkward in hosting the show. But through the times, he had adjusted and became compatible with the job of hosting the game show. Maybe it was also a strategy on the part of the producer and creator of the show to get someone who is not much into singing, to really concentrate on the plot or format of the game show.

you have a point. maybe the producers of the show put cesar montano to make people think WHY CESAR? and that will drive more watchers to see if cesar will progress or grow to be a good host or just not. well i still think randy santiago is a good choice for the show. cesar needs to be more masa than being timid. thanks a lot for the response

complete waste of tv time in my opinion. song is clearly a rip-off of the rival network's game show. montano is a good actor and he should stick to acting instead of hosting.

that is what i think of too... it is a waste of time, but my wife watches it though she does not enjoy what montano the bubuyog is doing but she enjoys feeling the blanks of the songs. but i can not tell her to stop watching. if i am at home and it is time for the bubuyog i just go inside our bedroom and watch another program. thanks a lot for the response

hi there mother. har har har the only thing that is improving is his outfit? i dont know. i am not much of a maporma so i dont know if his outfits are improving. i focus more on how he can handle the show. it is fun to wacth specially when the players are funny person but still cesar is boring. he cant jive with the crazy players

Hahaha..we're both of the same thoughts. Maybe the company had nothing to pick for that show, since Cesar is in with the contract we'll go see him hosting or maybe another drama role to have.
It doesn't seems that he's good with his new role, I'm not really impress how he interacts players he only has few of adlibs with more of his scripts on his note.
Well the show will not last that long and better to see him again on any shows that really fits him best.

what you said is agreeable. the way he interacts with the players??? trying to be cool or trying to be close and acting as if he knows them well. adlibs??? trying to be funny. he dont even sing on the phrase when the players didnt get the correct lyrics. yest he game is about not minding the tone as long as the lyrics are correct but atleast get a host that knows how to sing it would be a additional spice on the show. thanks a lot for the response

Hi, I do not really enjoy too Buboy as the host of the show. I just find that i'm not comfortable while he does his hosting bit on the show. Well I'm thinking of Ogie Alcasid as the host of the show, but of course that can't happen because Ogie is on the other side

hmmmm i am not an ogie alcasid fun but i think he would be apropriate to be a host of a show like the singing bee. he knows how to sing and he is funny at the same time. i always enjoy watching bubble gum as long as i have time to catch it. i think randy santiago is more fit to be the host of the show. i've seen him once at wowowee and he did a good job. i enjoy it watching than when willie is hosting har har har. thanks a lot for the response

Cesar Montana is a good actor but a bad host. It would have been better if Bayani hosted it coz he got to host MTB before plus he's a real comedian. Good thing it will be until this friday. But I must say, Im gonna miss it too...

randy santiago is one i can think of as good host and a god singer as well. i saw him took place willie's place at wowowee once. so i know he can handle the show very well. but i learned that the show ended yesterday.... cesar is not an effective host that is one of the reason why the show did not last that long. it was a good show a fun show but the host was a wrong choice. thanks a lot for the response
