I love to write poetry, of anything on my mind, heart and soul. I love to write about love, lust, mysterious, and whatever in my mind.

I love the idea of writing poetry.
I articulate my thoughts and feelings quite well, but when I write them down they never quite feel like poetry for some reason.
Maybe they'd look poetic to other people?
Do you think it would make a difference if I wrote them with the intention of creating poetry, rather than just using writing as a medium to express myself?

I write sonnets about cats. My book, Cat-House Sonnets, 100 poems celebrating cats, was published by Jorlan Publishing. It won the Muse Medallion award from Cat Writers Association and Best Poet from Preditors & Editors. It was a joy to write about everything our feline friends do. If you want to check it out, go to my publisher's website: www.jorlanpublishing.com/Cat-HouseSonnets.htm
