What's behind your avatar?

I chose my avatar because I didn't want to put my children's picture on there as it's a bit too personal and I hate all the pictures of me and the only other picture I have got downloaded was The Simpsons. It was as simple as that.
So why did you chose the avatar you did? What do think your avatar says about you? Do you think your avatar reflects the type of person you are?

Hi Humbug.. Only when alternative fuel is produced.. or only when Obama or Bush.. stop interfering in other man's affairs, only when my government gives more subsidy to gasoline products.. i can think of my previous avatar..the burning torches..
And the main thing for this little one cycling is that my docs has said that i have high BP and have instructed me to do exercises regularly..and i am obeying what my doc has said..haha.

I have a collection of my favorite pictures, and my avatar is one of them. I liked it a lot, and used to post it on other sources, and suddenly my friends started saying that it looks just like me. I thought it's a nice coincidence although i have never though about it in such a way. i guess the avatar really tells about my perspective on life; it is not shouting at first sight, but looks professional and harmonized when being looked in detail. I think all the pretty things should look like this.

My Avatar is a picture of one of the books I have written. I chose it because I like the design of the cover, I think it's attractive. I don't really know what it says about me....but the name of it is To Touch a Heart....so I hope it really says what I am about.

My avatar is what my idea of what I should be in life.
I am faced with all kinds of obstacles and I'd like to make people believe, which is true, that I'm fighting all of them.
We need to be obstinate in this crazy life and we need to persist to succeed.
So I chose a bulldog as an avatar.
Other than that, when I was in school my best friends had an old bulldog the entire neighbourhood was afraid off.
Hence my avatar.

I chose my avatar for I love wolves. I have wolves all over my place in pictures, crystal wolf collectables, to rugs with wolves on them, one is even on my wall it's huge and heavy but gorgious. So when I saw this avatar of the wolves I said I must have it and had a friend load it up for me and have had it ever since.
