have you ever swapped books online?

hi there.. i think this is great but i live in Asia, so i think, book swapping with USA residents will be expensive. i think, my country needs to start with this great idea. happy mylotting!

I like this idea,a cyberspace lending library! the only disadvantage is,you'd have to pay postage to swap the books,which you don't with your friendly local public library...another Idea to pass on books is Book Crossing www.bookcrossing.com -the concept is a catch and release system of passing on books..You join this website,take out a membership,and mark a book with your personal membership code,and leave it in some public place (or recognised book hotspot!) for someone to find..the Idea is,they recognise the book is part of this project,take it home,and "Log" its finding in on the site,so a pattern emerges where books migrate to by this method! I've yet to try this..I like my books too much to pass them on!

Hello Sweets I never have and didn't know anything of this. I do sell my books on ebay or amazon when I'm finished with them. I have most recently sold a bunch. I have been in the process of clearing out. xoxoxoxoxo

I love reading, but I have never heard of doing this. I'll have to check it out and see how it works. Has your friend had any problems with doing this? Thanks for the information, will be sure and take a look at it.
