Have you ever tried blueberry flavored syrup?

I've seen blueberry flavor syrup at online shops, but never tried it before. Not sure how it would taste on pancakes. Just always had maple flavor. And these days, that's usually artificial flavoring, not the real mapel syrup. Just imitation. Do you ever use flavored syrups for your pancakes?

I used to eat a lot of blueberry syrup all the time as a kid, that and boysenberry. It's really just flavored, I don't think there is any real connection to blueberry at all unless you put blueberries on your pancakes. But, I liked it. It isn't as thick as maple syrup. I saw DanishCanadian's response and have to agree with her about maple flavored syrup. I grew up, also with real maple syrup from maple trees. But, I've resorted to light maple flavored syrup to save calories.

I had the real stuff when I was a kid. Much better than fake maple. Plus, I'm worried about the high fructose corn syrup in fake maple syrup. In a Canadian study, they found a link between high fructose syrup and obesity in children. So it's not real high on my list of things I like eating. Course you can find that stuff in almost everything including soda! Wish there was some kind of realistic alternative!

I've had it. I think I might even have some in the pantry right now. It's pretty good but I like other flavors better. I like pecan praline and apricot syrup. Apricot has areally good fruity flavor that is delcious on pancakes. In the moutain areas in this state the also sell blackberry syrup which is pretty good also.

Can't say that I have ever even heard of blueberry syrup. But I will look for it in the stores since I love blueberry pancakes. That way I could still make blueberry pancakes and have blueberry syrup. Hmmm that sounds so good. I also love strawberry pancakes. Is there strawberry syrup too? That would be good too.

I have tried blueberry syrup on my pancakes. I didn't really like it though. It was too..blueberry. I like eating peanut butter on my pancakes. I know it sounds weird, but it's actually really good. The peanut butter kind of melts and it's just really good...especially on chocolate chip pancakes. But as far as flavored syrups go, I'm not really a fan.

It is really good on pancakes. When I was a kid we would go to a pancake house that had flavored syrup and that was one of my favorites. It is also really good on ice cream.

I've tried blueberry syrup and strawberry. If you go to IHOP they have a few different syrups available on the table. The blueberry one tastes good on pancakes. So do the other ones. I wonder if they sell flavored syrup in the stores, I've never looked.

The only flavored syrup I ever use is the stuff that I make myself. It is just sugar, fruit, and a tiny bit of water.
