I heard a rumour that they are now going to make a friends film due to the success of the SATC film.
What are your thoughts on this? I personally am unsure as with SATC there was lots of things that could happen and were left unanaswered at the end of the series 6 finishing and so thats why the film was such a success.
However with friends there has already been a spin off with Joey that was a continuation of his character. How would it all work? I mean I want to see them back together but could it really work??

I think it could work. it just depends how they decide to proceed with it. They could take it a few years in the future. Maybe joey moves back after his career doesn't work out. or else one of them needs their friends and they all come back together. I can't remember exactly how things were left in the finale, its been awhile. I would like to see a movie.

I know - I thinkeveryone as an idea of what they would and wouldn't like to see happen and hopefully the writers will match this to the film! I really do hope it turns out well but they are two very good ideas of what could happen! x

I thin if there was a movie made out of the sitcom then it would probably be after they all moved and stuff. Like a year from then. Ross and rachael finally get married, um Monica gets pregnant even through they adopted the twins. Um I don't know what else they could do with the storyline though. I would be interested to see what they would come up with.

Exactly! They are the only two things that make sense really - I always thought maybe Joey and Phoebe together but then that would mean Mike and Phoebe splitting up so maybe they have a kid too??
It would certainly be interesting to see! x

Hi frankie,I'm not sure what you mean by the SATC film. Is it S. int eh City? If so, I liked that film. It wasnt as good as the series but the outfits were great. Anyway The "friends" are alittle older now and I'm not sure that it would be the same. I wish they would make a movie with the characters from the Sopranoes though, that was a great series and just kind of left people hanging at the end.

Yes thats the film I mean! Thats what I mean though as it's been longer from freinds finishing to how long it was from SATC finishing to the film coming out - just don't want to be disappointed by it! lol

I think that would be a great show to go and see. I don't know if it could work but I just loved friends and really hated to see it end. I guess we will all just have to wait and see.

I know as I think it could go horribly wrong and then we won't remember the characters as we left them if that makes sense! I'm hoping though it is good! x

I have heard this rumour as well. I used to like Friends, but I am not sure if a film would work. I don't think Joey is as funny as Friends, and I have a feeling that the film won't be as funny either. However, the film could be very good if they get all the characters back together - you never know!

Thats exactly what I mean! It could work but it would be ebst if they didn't do it if they cannot get the storyline right! Fingers crossed as I would love to see it!! x

I also do not think that the film will be as good as the TV show, but if they make it then I really want to watch it. And, I am pretty sure that it will be more successful than SATC.

See lots of fans went to see SATC twice or even more because it eneded up being really good but if friends flopped then people wouldn't go back twice. Hopefully the writers will know what the viewers want! x
