well im too was excited of whats going on with my son..after the vacation of my second daughter we had somewhat a little private talk with my son and joy(name of my daughter)..although shes younger by a year only but more responsible and act maturely than his brother...she had given some advices to him regarding life and its purposes and also some tips on how to apply for work and if still no changes or i mean no work yet she proposes that his brother must go with her of rather follow her in manila to find work since there are lots of opportunity that awaits him there(meaning lots of companies and factories compared here)...and alas!!!he did ..after she left for manila ..my son had started applying for work..and lucky enough he was called upon for exam and several interviews...and this week he will be waiting for the result..i have high hopes and pray earnestly for luck..and i hope that you will help me do so...indeed my son had change his ways and come to his senses now...

I hope that your son would be accepted and start working soon. I believe it would be good for him to learn how to be independent and be away from home. Nothing could make a person more responsible for ones being if one is away from home. I hope too that he wold gain the maturity through his experiences. Let's just keep on praying. God bless!

Those are very nice news, my friend. He was not only able to listen to his sister's suggestions but he acted on them and now he is already seeing results. I wish your son good luck and hope that soon he is working in a nice job. It's always great to see that our children are responsible and listen to reason. Congratulations

Good! I hope he finds gainful employment and I imagine that the advice coming from his sister was easier to follow....us parents sometimes are not taken for the good advice we know about! LOL.....

well maybe he was embarrassed now since its his younger sister is more established than him ..that is career wise...and or maybe he thinks that im just paranoid or something( i always nagged him)..nonetheless im still very thankful and happy on the turn of events..

I can relate to your repsonse. My husband just recently lost his job for somthing silly. I just held my breath and did not chew him out. He realized his own incompetance and got busy fineding another job. Times are tough! Jobs are hard to find right now. He builds houses and well, there are just not alot of houses being built with this bad economy. He found somthing alittle differant building decks and out buildings. Suprisingly, it pays better. He is much happier at this new job and does not have the bad influences that were at the old job. it has really worked out for the best. Thank God! Somtimes things just happen for a reason. Hang in there! I hope things work out for you.

I think you must be very proud of your children. Yes, it is indeed a happy moment in a m others life when she realises her children have grown up and matured. Your daughter seems to be a very sensible girl (daughters usually mature faster) and Im real glad she has drilled some sense into his head. Im sure now that your son is finding his own, he will be very successful and make you proud. Give him a lot of encouragement even if he does not go through initially, for he will in the long run. All the best and Good luck.
