worry? why worry? what can worry do? it never keeps a trouble from overtaking you. it gives you indigestion and sleepless hours at night and fills with gloom the days, however fair and bright. it puts a frown upon the face, and sharpness to the tone we're unfit to live with others and unfit to live alone worry? why worry? what can worry do? it never keeps a rouble from overtaking you. pray? why pray? what can praying do? praying really changes things, arranges life anew. it's good for your digestion, gives peaceful sleep at night and fills the grayest, gloomiest day- with rays of glowing light. it puts a smile upon your face, the love note in your tone makes you fir to live with others, and fit to live alone. pray? why pray? what can praying do? it brings God down from heaven. to live and workwith you.. this poem is a reminder for all of us out there who worry that much. and the poem suggests that instead of worrying about things, instead, let us pray so that things will be in God's hand and that He will take over it and will somehow carry you through lifes most adverse adversity... please do comment.. hehe

thank you my friend. i will be praying for you right now.. Lord, whatever is the problem of my friend sherlock right now, i pray of YOUR inner peace. that instead of worrying she will be praying to YOU. Lord, prove to her that YOu are in control of everything. and whatever it is that burdens here, may You give her an assurance of Your deep and great love for her. You are so good and faithful Lord. in You we find security and comfort. and i pray of it for her this time.. bless her Lord, in Jesus name, ame.. it comes from my heart my friend. and wait for God's leading and timing in your life right now. i do worry too, and instead of worrying, let us pray!

yeah, it is the result of the worrying last week. i was so worried that time. and i was reminded to approach God instead of worrying more. and HE leads me to that book. all things are possible through prayers. and there in that book, i did find the will of God for all of us. i guess we humans would want to settle for less and worry. =i guess we really need to be reminded for all time about this... hmmm.. thank you!

I feel as if that was meant just for me. It sounded just like me. I tend to dwell on things. I am always worrying about something. I made a copy of your poem and hung it right beside my desk on the wall. I am going to have it so when I start to get all worked up, I can read it and feel better. Thanks Jing! dl

thanks my friend. actually i didnt made it myself. i read it in a book entitled: all things are possible thorugh prayers. it shots me down to my head and heart too. the same exact feeling you had when reading. i read the poem when i was so worried with everything. and it reminds me to pray instead of worrying. glory to GOD my friend... all for Him!

This is a nice poem jing. Thank you for sharing this to us here on mylot. I know this will remind and encourage those who are like us who also worry. God is indeed in control of everything, even the smallest detail he takes care of. I was deeply touched with the prayer you made for sherlock. Keep up the good work! have a nice day and take care!

yeah, i felt so convicted that time to pray for her. i think i discussed once in your own to never mind others business, and i think i did mind her business. not really knowing the whole story, but somehow i could relate to her. it is really true that there are people who had gone ahead of us, and we ought to help them out..so i prayed for her.. and the same to you te.. if you ask for some.. hehe, it might not be obvious to my looks and attitude, but deep inside there is deep calling to pray for others. would yuou belive that every problem in the ministry we have right, i used to know them? and i am deeply burdened with it, and so i am called to pray.. dili lang jud obvious sa akoa... hmmmm

Thank you very much for this beautiful poem and overview of how life and God play a big role in our attitudes. Worry is something that I have found in my life that really has never helped me much. I believe that putting my worries and prayers up to God is the best thing we can do. You are right, praying does change things and can bring us better peace in the long run.

amen my friend!! worrying does reminds us that we are just humans too and that we really needed the Lord to guide us through. in prayer and in worship will we ever be able to gain access to His eternal provisions and guidance. life is unfair and will never be fair. people come and go. we get hurt and we fail oftentimes. and so we worry, but in prayer we can bring everything to Him.. God is so good that everyday we are still alive and are to experience His ever presence....have a nice day!! hope we could be friends!!
