When a friend of yours steals money or something from you and you know that they did it but can't prove it? do you confront them about it and risk your friendship if he/she denies it or do you just bite the bullet and let it go?

I would rather not have a dishonest friend. If you know that she has done it then you will have tpo distance yourself . But ascertain facts in your mind.A cut must not be based on just suspicion. If you are very sure then there is no point continuing the friendship.

Stealing is something that's really against my principle, but if I can't prove it then there's no case whatsoever. So I guess I would just bite the bullet and let it go. But the stain will always be there and slowly I'd walk away from the friendship that isn't really my ideal since she has broken a very important vow in friends and relationships, the vow of trust. Yes, I could be a friend to her but it wouldn't be as deep as it should since she has already betrayed me. She will certainly feel my wrath. Not by physical abuse, but more of the emotion. I wouldn't go around telling others about what she had done, but I'll see to it that she feels my anger towards her actions. Plus of course, starting now, I'd be more careful of my things when she's around. Actually, there was an incident like this at my home. Our housekeeper for a long time committed a mistake and took something that wasn't hers. She's still young and was really sorry so we decided to let it go. Yes, the pain of distrust is still there, but now we are more careful about our stuff when she's around. I know sooner or later she'll realize that these things don't heal fast and would really do her best to make things better. You see, there's no point in having relationships if you can't forgive. But forgiveness isn't really easy, so I guess I could let the first offense pass. But the next one would certainly be the last one. And of course, never accuse someone if you have no proof at all.

In the case where i cannot prove that i will just let it go. One thing i will make sure is to have my things safe. It our responsibility to have our things safe. Even I had undergone such a situation in my school. My friend who sits next to me, took my note the day before the exam. What can I do? I just let it go. I just asked her if she took. She said a big NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. So I left. Next day i managed to write the exam but was standing out in that particular class because i didn't have the note.
