I would rather do fifty loads of laundry then a sink full of dishes. I really hate doing dishes. I wash them all then I have to dry them, and put them all away. Yeah sounds like laundry, but at least with laundry I don't have to scrub all the stuck on junk off of them. Its nice to just put the laundry in the wash, dry them, then fold them. Which would you rather do...laundry or dishes? Why do you prefer it?

ooops... both I dislike but because I am forced to do it, what choice have I got. At least washing I have washing machine to do it but dishes I have to do it everyday after after each meal and that is where I hate. I often take turns with my husband to wash the dishes. I can't stand the oily stuff on the plates and getting my hand full of detergent.

I used to hate washing dishes. I have never had to worry about drying them and putting them away. I let them air dry which is more sanitary anyway. But I generally reuse the same dishes over and over again so they don't really get put away unless I use something different for something I am cooking, or because I have people over for dinner and have extra dishes. When my family was still at home, I had to put them away because I didn't have room for all of them, but for the most part, they were still air dried. Incidently, I didn't realize air drying was more sanitary until I worked at a job in central supply in a hospital. We learned it in our training classes. That isn't an issue with me anyway though. I am not one of the people who is worried about germs. I like doing laundry if I can do it at my house rather than at a laundromat. I like to take my time with it with the folding and all that. For the most part, doing laundry is easier than the dishes because all that folding and/or ironing can be done while watching tv or visiting with your family...and not have me isolated alone in the kitchen while everyone else is visiting together without me.

I used to love doing dishes and not like doing laundry. Now, I can still think of a lot of other things I'd rather be doing than laundry or dishes but I've gotten a handle on the laundry better. We have a dishwasher here so all we have to wash by hand are the things like pots and pans...you know all the really hard stuff with stuck on food and grease. Ugh...it's so gross. But we all have to wash our own here so I have no choice...but you'll never catch me being nice and doing someone else's dishes!

Items by a sink - This is a photo of items by a sink.
As a house wife it isn't always enjoyable doing these chores. I finally got a washer machine over a month ago and it has made things more convenient. And I really don't mind doing dishes. If I had to choose the one I like less it would have to be the laundry. It really is hard to say sometimes because it depends on much laundry and how many dishes.
