I have internet Explorer and ive gotten used to it. I like it , its simple and easy to use... besides i like having tabs instead of having to open a new window lol. I think the speed has to do with your internet connection not with your browser, and it has great security features though i use norton which protects my computer from basically everything...

I feel the same way you do lostfan, I've used IE ever since I started, and haven't had any trouble with it! It does everything I need to do, and I am used to it! MY daughter has Firefox on her computer, and to me there is not that much difference!

i will second your vote. the add-ons that mozilla has cannot be matched by IE at all. for me the second place would go to opera.

For me the best browser is Firefox, its the best browser for a lot of reason. One is, Firefox features the all-too-familiar tabbed browsing feature. No more opening multiple browser windows, eating up your precious RAM and slowing down everything on your computer. While a more recent Explorer version can provide the same feature, Firefox pioneered the idea and there is a definite difference in feel when using tabs in Firefox as opposed to Explorer. Also a very important topic amongst those interested in browsers is that of security. Most studies show Firefox as marginally better in this field as well even though Internet Explorer had years of a head start. This has been partially associated with the way in which Explorer is tied into the operating system while Firefox is a completely independent application. Add-ons are a popular browser feature that enables enhancements to be made to browser by users. Well Firefox does anyway. Internet Explorer is notoriously hard to code add-ons for while Mozilla even provides help in doing so on their website. They welcome users who add functionality to the browser and a much wider range of applications are available, doing everything from music playing to game downloads. Finally, a feature of Firefox exists that is not really a part of the browser on a whole, but is rather a modified version made by users called Firefox Portable. This application allows you to take your browser, along with its history and bookmarks, with you everywhere on a USB Flash Drive.

I'm so glad we now have a choice of browsers! I try to hang in there with IE, but often have to switch to Firefox 3. It's so much faster with less glitches and hang-ups, and now that's Tabs were added, that really made it good. Also I don't get as much spyware when I use Firefox and there are some great add-ins too!

I used to use Internet Explorer but it is more so because it is bundled with Windows. But every since I installed Firefox about 4 years ago, I have been using this as my default browser in preference of IE. I love Firefox, and I get less viruses and spyware with this browser. Furthermore I like the multitude of add-ons available as well as the tab browsing available. Best of all, when my browser is closed unexpectedly due to a PC hang or Firefox errors, I can get my last session restored when I relaunch Firefox again. That feature I find is very useful because sometimes I am in the middle of things and can't recall which sites I am in especially if I am in the middle of reading an article in some website when the problem occurred. Firefox will surely be my favorite browser for many years to come.

GreenBrower is the best from where i was standing. You can use it without setting up into your computer, so it is very easy to use it. The second thing is that it can run without too much memory resources which are precious in the computer for you have to deal with many other things at the same time.

I agree with you. I was alittle worried about the firefox 3 at first but it seems to be working fine now. I think that the bugs such as they were have been worked out. I think firefox is easier to use. I like it alot. I like the new features of firefox three and I ahve all my bookmarks in firefox it is my browser of choice.

My parents used to have Internet Explorer on when they first got the internet on their desktop but it caused our computer to get a virus, and on top of that I could not stand to use it,my half brother suggested we get Mozilla Firefox and I am glad he did,I love it because it is very secure,it is really fast, and it allows me to have multiple tabs open at once,so I can accomplish a lot of tasks at the same time, which helps me improve my accuracy.

For me, Firefox is faster, more efficient and easier to navigate than IE. It may depend on the computer or the internet connection, because I've heard some people say that IE is better for them.

me too support only for mozilla firefox..it's always the best browser so far..safari is good but it is highly checkable on the account of security and downloads..though it's faster for surfing..yet firefox is always the preferred one..

I prefer Firefox, and Opera is second. I've had some many problems with Internet Explorer, I normally don't like to use it. I tried their version 8, and really hate that one.
