can i change the color of my star

Unfortunately the star colors are automatically assigned based on your rating which is a little complex. All you need to do is keep posting good quality posts and soon you will improve your rating and the color will change!

Stars are colored and numbered by ratings. Members rate discussions and posts using the + and - signs. I rate all the discussions that I reply to and posts in my discussions. I have never given a - on either. I would just rather not rate it. Welcome to mylot !

Umm you can't change it just like you could with a font color. The only way to change its color is if your rating increases to nine because that's red. Unfortunately you can't rate yourself, so this has to be done by others, nor can you ask them to rate you because that's against te rules. Quite tricky huh? I've been trying to raise my star to 10 for a very long time but for more than a year here in mylot I've only reached it twice, only a day on each occasion. I guess the solution here is that everybody should rate all the discussions, responses and comments. Well, goodluck to you!

there's no chance that you could change the color of the star. it depends on the rating you had in your star. 7 is white color, 8 is yellow, 9 is read and 10 is blue. so the more you post quality response then i believe that would affect your ratings and people would rate your discussions or your response because it has something in it.
