I have made around 100 posts here, but i could not able to get more than 10 responses in any of my discussion...I got even upto 9 responses many times....but till i cant reach the double digit nos in response..... I dont know why !!!! Is it so the subject is not attractive Is the time of discussion is not appropriate Is the discussion i am starting is not worth of it Or what to be done to make it more catchy

I'm a newbie here so I'm still getting acquainted with how myLot works. Does it matter if your discussions get ten responses rather than just nine? Obviously, you get more responses as the number goes up. I'm happy with a few responses myself. So far, I've enjoyed finding what others have to say about this and that. I, myself, like to think of catchy subject headlines that relate to my post. Obviously, yours worked for me as I'm obviously here responding. I have got to help this guy out, his fate depends on it! Well, here's hoping you get 9 more responses after me. :)

Guess I have helped you break your own record today. I am response number 10 :) Congrats!!! I too face this problem of very less responses or no responses and wonder how people manage to get so many responses on some stupid discussions. I guess it must be inappropriate timings of discussion or lack of friends responding.

I think i can identify a couple or more of reasons. I don't know if it will be very accurate, but this is what i think. And, please do not feel offended. 1. I think you start too many discussions? Am not very sure of this, but just glancing at your profile, you seem to have started around at least 20 discussions in the past 24hrs rt? I dont really say that you should not be doing this, but think through and post only the ones you think are worth-while 2. Make a search for similar posts before you post. Often similar discussions if started earlier tend to reduce your responses. 3. Make more friends on myLot. Your number of friends is 63. That can easily improve the number of responses you get. 4. Do make it a point to reply to many many discussions, so that people do remember you and reply when they see a post by you. All the best and Happy myLotting friend. have a great day..

This happens to all of us. I have started nearly a 100 discussions and the responses for them have varied from 2-142. The earlier discussions of mine would hardly get 5-10 responses. It was later that these discussions were again revived by some friends and then I started getting more responses to them.

I never worry about how many responses my discussions get and, in fact, do more responding to discussions than starting them, and my earnings are good. So, don't stress about it so much and have fun!

Hi rkrish I feel a good friendship network is very important here. And also how we cater to the friends' posts. you have to do justice to theirs as well. Make new friends and try to be honest and respond to theirs not just for the sake of earning fast money but as a love of it. Its also important to respond more and more so that your avatar gets noticed. Its more like publicising and marketing yourself. And most important of all, be consistent with meaningful responses. Trust me quality has the last say. good luck! PS: Its not more about the quantity, I guess. Even if you get a few thoughful responses its worth and 100 stupid ones. That's how I feel.

With the thousands of post in here it is really difficult to have it disseminated to everyone around. I think you should try to gain as many good friends as possible to be able to have your response shown to as many members in here.

I am also not that good in getting huge responses to discussions started by myself. The maximum I got is 34. Try posting your new discussion in the right area of intrest where it comes the best. I guess in this way you will get more responses and try adding those members who are active as your friends.

Well, here comes your fifth response. I'm sure this time you'll get 10 somehow. There's nothing like a good or bad discussion. Its only about attractiveness. Also as there is a time gap in myLot as there are people of different countries, you need to accurately determine the target readers of your discussions to get responses. But, all said and done, the most important factor is to have lots of friends on myLot. It will not only give better exposure to your discussions but also grow your network on the site.

There does not really appear to be any rhyme or reason when it comes to discussions getting a lot of responses. All we can do is post them and hope we get lots of replies Nine responses to a discussion is not that bad.

Well my friend 9 responses are not bad. I am happy if i get even 1 response. There might be another reason you are not getting responses. I have seen two posts on this discussion. So if others see this then they might start to ignore you i think. I suggest start a discussion & then wait sometimes to start another one. Then you might get more responses.

Your topic should be interesting enough to catch the attention of the people. You must not post discussions that you think is good, rather, you must post discussions that are at their best.

well, i see that you had received a double digit response for this discussion... so congratulations... i also hardly receive many responses for my discussions... so i just leave it like that and stop creating many discussions lately... i prefer to response more rather than to post... anyway, just try to have fun here and don't think so much about how many people responding to your discussions... otherwise, it will add to your stress... take care and have a nice day...

Hi rkrish.. Here I'm again.. As I wrote before, I'm not the expert who can give you an advice, so just take my posting here as your friend response.. I think some of your responders here gave you a good tips there. I'm agree with them that you start a lot of discussions in a single day. Maybe I can respond to 3 of them only. Another tip is I was told by the senior here to write more than 3 lines. Some people will not respond to the discussion less than 3 lines... Hope you a great day..
