How do you handle mylot bullies?

I haven't had to deal with that yet, but the few rude people I have run into I just try to ignore. There are some sensative topics posted on mylot and I know that that will draw people who don't agree with me or anyone else, so if they get out of line I just don't respond and try to put an end to the disagreement then and there.

Luckily I haven't come across any bullies yet, but I'm still new here. If I did, I would report them to myLot. Have you encountered bullies?

ive never seen a my lot bully what do they do?just tell them to step off.

I didn't know that there are bullies here. That is just crazy.

I will report him/her to Mylot admin enclosing all his/her harrass response/statement

I have never experienced it so I wont be able to comment on it. But people have the freedom of speech.That is what mylot is all about.To express your views.

I have yet to deal with anyone like that on this community, but at other communities I usually contact a moderator about it.

I have been harrassed before but I just moved on from it. Many people on here seem to think that unless you agree with them your a bad person. They will post a discussion ask your opinion on this or that but if you have a different opinion and prove your point of why, you can be called stupid, and told to shut up ect. I really wish so many people would grow up.

I would report the person. I think people like that take the fun out of it all here. I enjoy coming here and reading the posts. some are very funny. I hate to see when people are belittling others on here.

I have had a few bullies post cruel responses in sensitive topics. I respond with a post like "please don't be so harsh, this is intended to be a safe place..." and if someone is gross, I report them. I've also posted comments about the inappropriate post that the person is banned from my discussions and I will continue to report them until they are permenantly banned. Let's keep dialogue open and friendly!

I actually haven't came accross anybody like that so far..Hope I don't..but knowing me I would probably ignore it, cause I don't let that stuff like that bother me, cause it would be them showing their own stupidity. Now of course if they did do something that did happen to bother me in some way I would report them.

i haven't encountered one yet, here. most have been friendly. but some are kind of snob. so i think that makes up for a new topic. how to you handle snobs. lol. as for me, i never mind them. they sure got problems of their own and if i mind them they will just add up to my own concerns. well, same goes to those bullies, if there are.

I guess things i have done people could call me a mylot bullie for. The harassing part they would have to do that allot of time for it to be harassment. I have also been reported allot by people for discrediting there topics. I get a message one day responded back and now mylot doesn't even listen to these people's reports on me. I have quit that now and focus on myself more and making money on here. If i see one now i don't agree with i just report it or contact mylot directly. It is different if somebody makes a topic where i have a different opinion i only report ones that are just there to get money and nothing else. The guidelines say it now to so i report it even more. Mylot is happy to delete a big discussions that is only about getting responses for money it saves them money. We all want money and want response but you can tell the difference. I have noticed now when i report topics mylot get them now within a hour or so. All that being said i don't believe in discrediting people's topics anymore just report it and let mylot decide. I had to report one the other day that gave users the wrong tips on mylot and it was deleted in a few minutes. I can honestly say mylot is working hard now.

So far I have not ran into any but if I did I would probably cut of communication.

I've only had this happen to me once. This person seemed to be following me from site to site and heckling everything I was saying. I sent a complaint to mylot and haven't had any trouble since.

I assume that by Bullies you are referring to someone who argues and blatantly gives abuse to those who post something they disagree with. The suggestion that most have put forward so far to report the person is not a bad one, because that kind of behaviour does not help the site or it's members. Personally, I would just ignore them.

So far I haven't had a problem with anyone here, although I haven't been here long. The best way would be just to ignore it unless it becomes excessive. There are people like that everywhere that we have to deal with, there's no point letting them upset you too much, or you're rewarding them for their effort.

Yes i know what you mean Littlefranciscan, I have come across this. Being new i was a litte offput. Jerks exist in any community though.
