I still have vaction time left over, I took a week off last month and went down statew with my boys. I realized I still have three days left to use by october so I am going to take them next week. The problem is that the boys are in school now so it's not like we can go anywhere and there isn't much to be done around the house, so I am besides myself as to how to spend my time. I would hate to waste it loafing around the house the whole time, any suggestion?

Is there anywhere you fancy going? Either for a long drive, perhaps a few nights in a hotel, go for a trip down to the sea, or into the country, take some quality time out for yourself and do something you really enjoy doing but never had the time for in the past. Go to the leisure centre and have a swim then go shopping afterwards and really pamper yourself, hey pampering is not just for the ladies. When I was in my twenties I would love nothing better than to cycle to my local station put the bike on the train, take the train down to the seaside and then I would spend the day cycling around the coastline, it was wonderful, all that sea air and the exercise combined. What about catching up on a novel or going to the flicks to see a film. I am sure you will enjoy your time off my friend it will go quick enough!

Those are some pretty good suggestion you have there, I can't go anywhere over night since I have to make sure that I get them off to school and am home to make dinner and make sure they do their homework. It would be nice to plan a little day trip, somewhere I can go after I drop them off and get home once there out of school.

It would be interesting to hear what you do decide to do my friend and that could be another discussion?

You can spend time mylotting. And then you can take walks in between mylotting. Go to your local parks and walk and if you like take pics, take some nature scene pics. Never know what you will come back with and then you can post them into discussions here.

Hello bowtieguy. I am back to school from my summer vacation, but I am still free till September 1st, when I have to go to classroom to face and teach my new students. How I long for a longer summer vacation! I don't seem to have enjoyed myself long enough. lol. But if you don't want to waste time loafing around the house, why not go for a bike-ride around the country? I love it.

Maybe you could take a short trip during the day while the boys are busy at school. Are there any places nearby to where you live that you would like to take a short visit to?

If i could get days like that, then i prefer to take a day for me and i just sit and think a while how the things going for me and where i miss and what to do to get it ....say simply plan, analyse and sort out for me and my family tooo..what i could not able to put time. And in balance will try to take my family for a evening out to a beachside and enjoy with them really keeps them a fun.
