I did not even realize I was getting a sunburn while yard saleing yesterday until I went to the restroom at a gas station yesterday and looked in the mirror. I look like a lobster. I used Aloe Vera on my burn last night. It seemed to help a little bit. What do you use to cool the burn or a sunburn?

Vinegar! That is the best thing for a sun-burn. Mix up some water and some vinegar, and splash it onto the burned areas. ( Make sure not to get it in your eyes! ) You can also dab it on with a wash clothe. Some people like to use very coool water. This can be done several times a day! You will feel relief soon!

Vinegar huh? I might try that too. My sister used to use Noxema. She would just rub a thin layer on her burn.

I burn like the vampires in the sun. I have to really limit my time in the sun. I can kind of feel when I've been out too long. I got really badly burnt one year because I went to a beach with one of my friends. It was so bad, I got the chills from my sunburn. I went to the store and slathered myself with aloe stuff. I have no idea what the real best advice might be in a case like this.

Ouch! If you have fair skin like my hubby that is gonna hurt. We use aloe too. Another thing that I found takes the sting out is a jar of Noxema. Hope it doesn't hurt too bad.

You look like a lobster Hehehe.. Why do you say that buddy? I don't think just by getting sunburn would make you look like one lobster. Apply some cream or lotion on your body. That should help heal the burns soon enough. Hope u look like normal back again as soon as possible. Take care.
