I got a few FREE items after rebates at Walgreens today!

One way I try to save money is by shopping at Walgreens and taking advantage of their Free After Rebates (FAR) offers. I got a tube of Crest Pro Health toothpaste, Nivea for Men Body Wash, 16.9 oz., and Excedrin Express Gels, 20 Pack. I will fill out my rebate offer and mail them in before the end of the month and because I have my rebate added to my Walgreens Gift Card I get 10% extra added to my card. Then I turn around and go buy more items next month they offer Free After Rebate for next month. I had enough on my gift card this month that I didn't have to pay out a penny to get those three items I bought. This is one way I am trying to be frugal. What are ways you are using to be more frugal. I love that word!! God bless you!

That's a nice deal!
I'm eating everything in the house before I go to the grocery again. The money I would have spent at the grocery is going into savings. I have things here that are a real challenge to make into a meal! The freezer is going to be emptied, too.

I have done Walgreens rebates in the past but I prefer to do Rite Aid rebates because all you have to do is submit the receipt on line. No mailing, no stamps that's what I like about it better than Walgreens Rebates. I do need to get back into doing the Rite Aid rebates. I haven't done them in awhile, but it is a very good way to save money and get things for free usually and if you have a coupon sometimes it pays you to buy to product.

Isn't it good when you get something for free, just the other day I was looking on the internet for some tuitorials on how to use my new camera when I saw this promotional offer on the Canon page saying that if you bought a canon camera between these two dates you can send your receipt and bar codes to Canon and get a free camera bag worth $50, I bought my camera two days before the end of the date..so I have sent my info ..heres hoping i get my free bag but it sounds too good to be true but here is hoping...

I love getting things free. I even get excited when the free things are not things I need. I love the 10% bonus that Walgreens gives. We just got a new store open up on the corner by us. We are also getting a Walmart next year.
