The news reports say that British teenagers are the worst behaved in the world. Do you agree or disagree? What can be done to improve the situation? This is not my personal opinion I have met nice and not nice teenagers I'm just wondering about the issue.

A lot of teenagers are horrible, but a lot are nice too, I see a lot of teenagers on buses and the majority are well behaved. I don't really know what teenagers are like in the rest of the though, but it's normally minorities that draw attention to themselves that give the rest a bad name.

I agree that you cannot say all teenagers are bad and it is the minority that are.

To be honest, I don't really know what they are like in the rest of the world. I agree with RieRie though, it is always the minority who give the others a bad name. I don't think teenagers in general are too bad, it's just that you only ever hear of them doing bad things. I mean, I know a few teenagers who have done/are doing really well at school/college/work and no one really notices because you don't sell papers with headlines saying "teen won award" for anything or anything like that.

That's true, how many times does it make the news that a group of teenagers have been helping in the community.

Well, that's rather annoying actually. I have a teenager myself and he is one of the most intelligent, kind and caring people I've ever met, he's even cleverer than me in some ways. I have actually seen in our local paper quite a few articles saying that teenagers have helped the community or they've gone to a special conference or something like that. I agree too that it's the minority of teenagers that make a bad name for all the others.
