when i was a student,i was told to use 'New Times Roman' in the formal writing. but other than that,i rather prefer 'Comic Sans MS' myself. I set it as default font in my outlook express so that each email from me uses this font.it's really elegant. what about you? which font do you like best?

I am not actually sure which one I like the best, there are so many of them! I do like the lucida handwriting one though that is nice and a few of the others are pretty neat and look cool but I am not actually sure which is the best. I tend to use a different one everytime I do any typing!

Oh, I do not have any one favorite. It would just depend on the day. I have used Lucida a lot. I just type whatever. In myLot it would not matter, and I do most of my typing here.

comic sans is cool.i think my favorite is "magna veritas" or "ransom". some of the old gothic blackletter types are nice too.particularily on invitations and whatnot.

Times New Roman or Courier New would often be the font required for us when we pass papers. When it comes to other compositions that I can change or modify the fonts to my liking, I would always go for Comic Sans MS Slightly similar to the font used on comics and I also use it when I write the dialogs of some characters in a made-up strip.. (^_^ )

I am also using New Times Roman most of the time but I also like Tahoma if my letter is quite short I am using it. To me it is quite formal.

I use different fonts for different stuff. I like the handwritten style too! As long as I can read it I will use it.

I like all fonts which are not so neat and upright like the defualt, New Times Roman.. hehe I prefer to have fonts which are cursive or a bit unreadable because it represents a certain charactisitc to me and i find them graceful, especially with all the round words and curve at the end.. hehe

I think so.. Because it's not something that someone asks everyday, right? :) I was like, "Oh right. I wonder what font people like." Simple yet different. XD

Times New Roman is the most readable font when printed. Ariel (or Helvetica or Verdana) are generally thought to be the most readable for a web page and Comic Sans is a pleasant, readable, informal font suitable for email and other personal communication. If you are printing off your CV/resumé you should use TNR, if you are designing a web page more people will be persuaded to read it if you use Ariel and letters to friends printed or emailed in Comic Sans have a friendliness about them that makes people feel warm. These are not just my opinions, they are recommendations which are generally accepted after many tests of readability. That is why those fonts are included by default with MS Windows and MS Office applications.

Ariel = Arial! Sorry about that! I am too immersed in Shakespeare, LOL!

I don't really have a favorite. I generally use New Times Roman in everything I do. Occasionally I will change it up, but it really depends on the mood I am in and what I am typing up.

hi sophialin roman is okay but me I like Tahoma best and use it for everthing. its neat and plain and easily readable. I use it for email and for everything else too. even microsoft word. I think its fun to send emails with thosecomic fonts then translate them into tahoma so they can read the things.
