Have/Do Any Of You Work At Petsmart?

I work a full-time job at Nordstrom already, but just applied to work an additional part-time position at Petsmart... my only reasoning for choosing that employer is because I love animals. I'm just wondering if any of you do, or ever have worked there, and can give me an honest opinion about how they treat employees.

I've worked for Petco and can tell you that not only do they treat their animals poorly, but they also treat their employees poorly. I'm still owed $1,600 and I quit in May!

Wow! Yeah... I don't like Petco as much. I'm in a similar situation as you (being owed money) from another job that I had for a while... so I know how frustrating that is. I just got a call from the Petsmart people today and I have an interview Thursday morning at 8 :D Wish me luck!

Good luck! If you get stuck cleaning cages, don't forget to give the guinea pigs hay! I noticed the workers at PetsMarts out here always seem to forget that. :( Even though it is usually in the back for them. :)

Aww :( Poor little darlings... I'm actually interviewing for a grooming position - so I'll just be working with other peoples' pets that they already own :)

No I don't. I tried to get a job there once though. I would like to work there b/c I love animals.

I personally have never worked at PetSmart, but when I go into our local PetSmart it is nice to see an employee that you recognize. Hope that helps.
