Sharing secrets is something that we all do.Most of the time we share our secrets with our friends and we call them as best friends. Some people share there secrets after marriage with there loved ones but them honestly I feel most of it we dont share. My question is that do we share the same mutual understanding with our bro in law or sis in law......Is it that if we share anything that we are let down. Regards

I have very good rapport with one sis in law. She's a wonderful person who really goes out of her way to get to know our side of the family, including our cousins and other relatives. I've shared a few secrets with her when we were talking about my other sibling's situation.

I like my brother in law but we do not often talk about personal matters and my sister in laws lives so far away that I have only met one of them and although I really liked her we don't know each other well enough to exchange secrets . We keep in touch through the internet but mostly just about how each others families are doing and letting each other know how the children are doing .

I've seen many people who are close to their in-laws and have a good rapport with them. But I hardly get to meet my in-laws...and though we are not fighting or having a cold war...we don't really open up to each other. We are cordial and nice to each other and nothing beyond that.

I have nothing to do with any of my in-laws. I can't stand those people. I would never even think of sharing anything with them.

I think that if you have a secret with a person, you need to share it with that person and not with anyone else. Else it is no longer secret. There is no point in sharing a secret about one person with another person. Cheers! Ram

I wouldn't share anything with my in-laws, however... I'm sure if I confided in a sibling they would share it with their spouse. I guess that's why I don't confide in my siblings :/
