I have AVG trial version which I am using but it's nice and everywhere virus is detecting and also daily updates are providing in AVG my friend had NOD32 he is also preferring to use it and I sat side with the AVG that means I have two good Antivirus softwares

I don't use Anti-virus software. There have been a few cases where I've been troubled with viruses, but in 10 or so years it's been 3 cases, which isn't bad at all.
As for the best... I think the most convenient is AVG Antivirus 'cause it's free and it's pretty decent.

Agree with you, AVG rules! But I have been making money online for a year now, and during this time I understood the importance of having some Antivirus installed, 'cause there is so much junk on those numerous moneymaking scam websites. I usually get one-two virus warnings a week with my everyday work online.

I don't do a lot of stuff online that could lead to questionable areas, so it generally works out for me. I think there are 2 cases where you would need antivirus:
1) If you are an inexperienced user
or 2) If you are experienced, but out of necessity have to go to questionable sites.
Otherwise, no real need.

I am very happy with the one I'm using. It's embarq's online security.....what the professional use. It was free with my phone/internet service. It does take a lot of space on my computer, though. It has caught and removed many viruses and trojans.

Hey i had used many antivirus software i will tell you which had given me good result Norton antivirus software makes the system slow but its good one,AVG is good one but it cannot remove some viruses from the system,Avast antivirus is also good one you can use it,NOD32 is the better than others that i have mentioned above.Avira antivirus is the best one and it is used in many internet cafe and one thing for the antivirus to be working properly is needs to be updated frequently so it needs internet

I never buy any antivirus protection, I always look for free programmes in the market. I am using the free version of AVG Antivirus, and Zappit system cleaner, and they both work well for me. The computer is healthy and fast.

I am currently using Avast Antivirus. I really like it, it doesn't take up all your computer, you can do other things while it's running. Never had any problems with it.
Before Avast, I had Northon Antivirus. It wasn't bad, but it used too much of my cumputer while scanning, it was almost impossible to run any other heavy program. Besides that, Northon was good.

We use AVG Antivirus 8.0 for cleaning out viruses and for cleaning out the spyware, we use spybot search & destroy. We use these because they are very good programs and they are free lol.

i am using symentec end point protection V-11. it is very affective for virus, spyware, worm, trojan.
