First day of Internship tommorow

Okay so tommorow is the first day of my internship and I am really nervous about it. So I have to work 100 hours in this non profit organization. I am going to work on Mondays from 10:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon and then on Thursdays at the same time. So I'll be doing ten hours a week and I'll be done with the 100 hours in ten weeks.
So I'm pretty nervous because this is my first job besides being a babysitter. I'm going to just be making calls, faxes, filing and stuff like that but as the days go by I'll probaly be doing bigger stuff.
So wish me luck guys because I'm really nervous right now.

i was saying it in my mind while i was writing it. ^__~ it means do your best tomorrow. ashita means tomorrow and ganbatte means do your best. you could reply with ganbarimasu which means "i'll do my best".

You know what after I typed my response I decided to search up on that phrase. I did find out that ashita means tomorrow but I didn't find out ganbatte. Thanks for this little lesson. ^_^ Ganbarimasu!

LOL. Your not actually saying it your writting it. And I don't even know what that means.
What does it mean? And today I went to the internship but I left because my boss was feeling sick. So one of the other guys told me that I should just leave because I wouldn't really be doing anything there that day.

Hello ayumitakashi.
Oh, do not worry, I am sure they will be so glad to get some low cost or free assistance, they will be thrilled to have you. You'll see. The 10 weeks will fly by and you will learn so very much. What a wonderful experience you are about to have. I wish you the best of luck. Enjoy it because you will never forget this experience. I recommend you keep a journal about the internship. Some day, you'll be glad you did.

Oh yeah that's what I'm thinking. Well today didn't go as planned because my boss didn't go to work because he was sick. So one of the other guys told me that it would be best for me to just leave because I wouldn't be really doing anything that day.

I'm sure you'll do fine. I'm sure they understand that you may not have a lot of experience working in an office or anything which means you may need a bit more help in that department. If you are not sure about something just ask. It's a lot better than doing something completely wrong and then looking bad in the end.

Yeah your right. But I didn't really do anything today. My boss was out sick so when I went over there one of the other guys that works there told me that I wouldn't be doing anything over there so the best thing for me to do was to leave. So I left but I'll be back on Thursday at the same time.

Good luck! It'll be fine. You can always lean on your friends here on the Lot if it gets bogged down.

Oh that is so right. My mylot friends are just the most wonderful thing ever. It's so cool to have so many friends on here to help me out when I am stressed and to give me advice when I am down and sad. Thanks cobrateacher.

I know and hopefully they like me enough to actually hire me. Right now what I'm doing with them is an unpaid internship so hopefully after I finish my 100 hours I'll get hired. Happy mylotting.
